Another successful Blanco Xmas Rally

Texas weather cooperated again when 9 Airstreams and one ALiner who wanted to be an Airstream gathered at Blanco State Park for the second year. We all decked out our rigs with Christmas lights after fording the low-water bridge into the campground. The Blanco area has had all-time record rainfall in the last year and in November, particularly, which made the park a little soft in places..

We toured the "Real Ale" micro-brewery Friday evening, followed by a dinner at a local restaurant. Saturday, the square was full of vendors and we all finished some Xmas shopping. Saturday night we all put on our heavier coats and had a great pot-luck and a campfire (amd a keg of Real Ale).

Temperatures were about 70 daytime and high 30s at night. No frozen water pipes this year.

We enjoyed another cool forum gathering at Blanco State Park, perfect weather, fun group of people, xmas decorations and sampled some great food and local beer. We are lucky to be able to still camp in the winter here in Central Texas. Even the flamingo's were able to come out and play.
