Last year Melissa and I went to the Stonewall Peach JAMboree which is very close to Fredericksburg.
We had a good time and want to go again and would love some, or all, of y'all to join us. We will arrive on Friday June 15 and leave on Sunday 17.
The Jamboree borders on the sublime. It is really small town Texas and quite fabulous. You can see from the website what happens. It would be fun to hang our there a little, enter the dominoes competition and eat all the peach delicacies. Play some washers. The church has a barbecue where you actually buy it by the pound, and take it away. Just what we need for a group campside dinner.
the Saturday evening rodeo could not be more genuinely small town Texas. We felt like we had gone to the movies and we were in one of them. It is truly and experience.

The KOA is very nice. It will be hot and they have a very nice pool. We spent a good part of the afternoon wallowing.

Of course there is always lots to do in Fredericksburg including visiting some wineries. We could organize getting on a shuttle if people want.
This is going to be very lay back with little organization, but lots of hanging out with good friends and new friends. Everyone is welcome, and for those of you who haven't joined us in the past, take the plunge.
I see peach pancakes to peach schnapps on the horizon.
