We actually camped in the B-loop because we wanted electric. The sites are definitely much nicer and more spacious than the ones on the hill.

Called for booking at Stone Mountain, and are sites 40-49 booked? Use 50-73, or based on reading here is 44-49 still open?

Wayne,

Loop B sites are good stuff, 40-80 and the boondocking sites in Loop C.

Loop A are dry and good for tents and small pop ups with only a few exceptions.

Our Data Officer Tom put up a nice pic showing our rigs a few posts back.

Hi there...As members have made reservations and posted them here I've updated the map to reflect the spot they've reserved.

Reflecting back a couple of posts we've reserved up to lot #49... Jump into anything else that's available. You'll need to make your own reservation via Reserve America...

It'll be great to meet you guys! Good point about the empty site... From what Gary say's they're all good. I've updated the overhead picture of the loop to show that Site 51 is another S/OS member!

Maybe we can make something of Site 51 like Area 51 with Sliders, Aluminum and Rivets!

On reserveamerica they have a pic of the site and driveway length. The only sites that are possibly a bit tricky would be 60 62 64 IIRC. These dip down a bit in the approach.

Wayne you’ll have a nice stream for a backyard.

I get the same looks and yeah, Folks say they’ve been to the GA one when I tell anyone about Stone Mt and have to clarify, nope this one is in NC.

And you can’t see this one except for a glimpse off of the BRPW at a rest stop or from the park office unless you take a shortish walk to get there.

We've kicked it around Nogginsbro, Seemore and STRMN and we're gonna do a hot dog and chili on Thursday eve and we'll determine a day for a pancake b-fast. I have a 20" Lodge cast iron skillet that grinned when I told it about the pancakes.
