Paula, I will be thinking of you when I have my first cappuccino this morning.....in about twenty minutes....LOL. Yup, it is going to be a bit cool today, but I suspect this means I will have visitors and will keep my Gaggia hot for most of the morning.

Hope you are feeling better.

Paula, you can always bring a box of Kleenex, and drive down. It's supposed to be nearly 60 and sunny today.

Speaking of Sophie, we'll be at the pot luck breakfast as soon as I finish cleaning the doggie ralf off the couch and floor. Any visitors to our trailer today would do well to not sit on the couch...

Good afternoon. It's mostly sunny and 58. We're having a great time, wish y'all were here.
Internet connections are pretty spotty, but I'm sure there will be more photos uploaded after everybody gets back to civilization.

Good morning. Several Alumineers have already departed, and we will be following suit in a few minutes.
It's 29, and clear. That means it's fr--- freez-- cold.

Thank you, Sandlapper! Another great Alumalina!

We enjoyed catching up with old friends, making new friends, and getting good ideas to use in our new home when we pick it up in May.

Alumapalooza is next!

Smile Alumalina Spring 2015

Sandlapper ( King Possum),

The Alumalina Rally was just terrific. Everything was perfect except for a few raindrops. John, you and your helpers did a fantastic job and the community of people was so very special.

What a great rally with the Maine Airstreamers attending in spite of having to dig their AS out of a snow bank with the chocks encased in ice. Now they are hard core rally folks and what nice people. I pray they have a safe trip back to Maine and will come back next spring. Jared and Heather said they will have a caravan going on with their unit at the time of our fall rally and will not be able to attend.

It was great to see/have Maggie and Lilly attend on there way back north. I must say I got two hugs from Maggie this weekend. Lilly was watching me closely.

Man-o-man lets not let the word get out about all of the super cooks who provide the great pot luck breakfasts and suppers. Not to mention the Great Possum Bog Friday night provided by Ronnie and Hank. We will be filling up Palmetto Cove just to be with these people and enjoying the great eats.

The Mrs. and I hope to see most of the Region III folks at Ladson, SC at the end of April?

John, I hope you and Honey Bee can take a couple of days off and reflect on a great spring rally. I cannot wait to see the pics that were taken over the weekend. Please express our appreciation to Terry and Annie for their hard work. They need to kick back and relax for a couple of days. Again thank-you for planning and having the great Alumalina weekend by Lake Wateree, SC.

See ya down the road.

Remember we give a HOOT, we all give a HOOT.

Kindly,

John & Anne Ashworth

Just great fun as usual! Glenn and I surely enjoyed being there (as did Nola and Rhoda). We had to pull out early so I could get to DC by Sunday evening. Thanks to all who helped organize and make it happen -- and for the (as usual) diet-busting chow. We'll look forward to the fall gathering....and hope that we'll see some of you at the Region 3 rally next month. Hmm, what mods can I come up with by then???

John,
We had a great time this weekend. Thank you and the whole crew for all the hard work you do putting this on. So good to see everyone again.
Sorry we missed breakfast this morning but we pulled out at 07:00 and were back home around 1:30. Truck said it was 25 outside but a great morning to drive back.
See you soon,
Annette & Joe

Many Thanks for a Great Rally

Many thanks to John and Susan and Terry and Annie for another fantastic rally. You folks are the absolutely the best. To the anonymous person who brought the little flamingo for the giveaway, many thanks. I spotted the gift bag and said to those around me that I was going to win that one. Imagine my surprise when my number was called. I already have two of the cute little birds and have been looking unsuccessfully (until last night) for a third to add to the flock. I love the flamingo picture frame too!

Thanks again to all the folks that made the rally a great success!

Wow,
How wonderful it is for those of us who were unable to attend to at least see the smiling faces of our friends. We are glad that you all had a great time. Know that we were watching the clock and knowing what activities were happening without us. Glad to see Gary was keeping the cast Iron hot and fire pit going. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the fall.

I did note that I did not see any photos of Rita this year. I hope she was well behaved.

Jon

Thank you everyone for the wonderful welcome

What a wonderful friendly group. Bill and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Thank you John and your committee for a wonderful weekend.
Oh and yes, we did empty our tanks when we were close to home at the KOA on Gold Hill road off of 77. It seems like everything "emptied" properly. LOL

Thanks to John and all for another great rally. No finer folks, anywhere.

Enjoyed so very much seeing and visiting with familiar faces and new.

Appreciated greatly the kind words, support and encouragement of so many, the air in my tires, small repair to the galley cabinets, help carrying things hither and yon, etc.......and the many hugs.

Great photos, Msmoto!

Lily and I were on the road at first light this morning.....and, after some struggle to get my directionally-challenged self et al out of Wateree and onto a main road , made it to near-Berea, KY, by late afternoon.

Tomorrow will be easier, and shorter......home probably mid-day.

Travel safe, y'all, and see you next year.

Maggie
