WOW King Possum! I need to get back to the Blue Ridge and start herding up the young crop of Possums for the October Rally. With 73 families signed up by July 13,2016 the rally is rolling. I will get my neighbors in the mountains to start scouting out the the good prospects for the fall gathering and start feeding corn to get the most weight on them as possible.

After a super 2016 International in Lewisburg I think folks are excited about the fellowship and fun that we have while attending a larger mixed unit rally. That is the beauty of Alumalina because many WBCCI clubs are present in addition to having Regional and International(Jim & Debbie) officers in attendance to share their visions for the future.

Thank you John and Susan, for having the vision to start the Alumalina Rallies so we can all come together and share our adventures. How our local club had a unit caravan to the International and the fun had by all. Those who attended Lewisburg this year will be able to talk to non attendees about how the club met the WBCCI groups needs and how members jumped in to help the local community with their needs.

I look at this fall rally as the starting point for the 2017 International Rally next July. We all need to remember: Life is Good, it's the journey not the destination.

Very glad to see so many of our old friends coming back, it is always special to have you with us. We count on you to make sure the new folks have the best time.

Lynetta and Brian, very, very glad to have you and your traveling circus back with us again. They are an outstanding group. You have trained them well.

We love the youngsters and want any that have them to please bring them along. There will be plenty for them to do.

We are still a ways off from the rally date but just so you know....

Thursday night is always the great HOT DOG FEAST. Premo hot dogs cooked to perfection over open flame, with deluxe trimmings.

Friday morning will be continental breakfast, provided. It will keep you from going hungry but that's about it.

POSSUM BOG Friday night. Would not be Alumalina without possum bog. For all you newbies, do not worry, it tastes just like chicken.

Saturday morning is always POT LUCK BREAKFAST, a feast fit for kings.

We have some professional entertainment lined up for Saturday night. A one man band that is really, really good. Bring your axe.

Also, we are very pleased to announce that we will once again be having our fabulous, famous, freaking awesome FALL FISH FRY on Saturday night. In case you don't already know about it, it is premium, restaurant grade white fish fillets, along with shrimp, devil crab, hush puppies, french fries. Best you've ever had.

Thrown in the mix we will have seminars, open house, lots of paroozing, and back by popular demand, our good friend RITA will be there Saturday afternoon. Be sure to stop by for a visit. She loves a good time.

We have many other things planned and will post the details as the time nears.
