Great shots Jon, I have some too but gotta figure out how to get them on here. Working on it. It really was a splendid weekend. So glad we could all get together.
We pulled out a few minutes before Brett and Debbie. About an hour down the road Susan and I pulled off to the top of the ramp so I could "shake hands with the governor". They didn't see us but Brett and Debbie blew by in a silver blurr, so the adjustments to their hitch must have been working well!! Never could catch them.
BTW, looking at March 7-8-9 or 14-15-16 of 2013 for the Spring Alumalina. Trying to avoid conflicts with Easter activities. So all you CAROLINIANS and any other interested folks out there, pencil in those dates. Likely be back in Charlotte.

What a great time this weekend. Debbie and I enjoyed every minute of it. We have to do more of these! BTW, my rig drives like a dream. Thank you John for sharing your time and smartness with me and making those adjustments. No, we didn't see you when we passed even though we were looking for you. I figured you must have been hauling it but now I see we were in front. I kept seeing an AS trailer in front that I thought was you. But, when I caught up, it was a fully restored and polished Overlander probably a 1960 model or earlier. It was beautiful and the driver was too! They should have been camping with us!
Here is a great big THANK YOU for all your effort and time you out in to making this weekend a perfect outing. What a great time with great friends. Brett & Debbie

Big thanks for all of your efforts to make it happen. Nice place, really nice fall weather and a bunch of Airstreamers. Good stuff.
This mill was on the way up to the Blue Ridge on a gravel road.
Got home safe and no problems. I also found my camera, in truck door compartment.

From the Mt Mitchell outlook and then Friday afternoon, and it's after 5 for us. Pleased to add that we invited a newbie couple to join us and share a laugh and then Pam invited a MOHO couple, very interesting stories.
We also went to the Marion festival, good old main street fall festival and we found a Winery near Nebo, good stuff! A very interesting area to explore.
Thanks for all of you hard work John and it was nice to spend time with all of you.

Consider the Christmas rally at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach 1st wknd of Dec. Also we are gathering at Huntington Beach State Park for a few days before the Christmas rally.
