Thank you all for your input, you are totally correct.

Yes, the park is quite large, and yes, we have a large crowd coming, and yes, there is room for us all.

Rally style parking goes all the way back to the beginnings of Wally and his earliest rallies. It allows the maximum amount of rigs in the smallest of places. Wally introduced the "Wagon Wheel'' parking formation, where everyone parked in a circle, side by side, making everyone equal and important, like the spokes of a wagon wheel. We have the next best thing at our new venue.

There is plenty of room to set up camp, deploy your awnings, park your TV, enjoy your neighbors, and be a part of the phenomenal Airstream family.

If you need your own space we have that available as well.

Come on, you will like it.

I will be happy to park with the Atlas group..... LOL Am flying out tomorrow to pick up my new AA moho in Sioux Falls, SD. And at Alumalina, I think I should be fine with no hook up as I want to test out all the boon dock features of my new AA.

As hard as I try not to, I always screw up the list, so thank you all for keeping tabs and pointing me in the right direction. It is without a doubt the hardest part of the event. An accurate head count is so important to planning. We need to know how many possums to snare, how many doughnuts to buy, and how many fish to fry.

I have a paper list (I love pencil and paper) as well as the posted list. They help us with planning.

We have hookups and room for everyone so come on, you will not be disappointed, we have the Best of the Best attending and you will like it. I must quote my good friend David Felver once again:

"It's the PEOPLE that make the rally, the trailers are a bonus."

Heck, WE'RE COMING ALL THE WAY FROM MONTANA! So, Kait, if you see a red Suburban pulling an Overlander eastbound, it's probably us!

Kait, we've found the rallies are always a fun time, and this is our first one in the East as well. As to "newbie friendly," I'm sure, like all Airstream rallies, everyone is friendly!

So, since you have a "new," vintage Airstream, I'm sure you will find you will learn more about your Overlander and Airstreams in general, in these few days then you could just camping on your own. And, I'm sure you will have fun to boot!

(We will likely arrive Tuesday or so - after the "Bourbon Trail!")
