Our first night in our new-to-us still-under-construction Airstream was wonderful, even though Rob and Alice and I didn't get in until well after midnight. The second night was not so good. A huge thanks to the Leakes for the medicine which helped me get through my first time being truly sick on a camping trip! I was struck by a sudden horrible stomach bug and spend the rest of the trip in the camper. I'll spare you the details. Even today I am just starting to feel like myself again. Alumalina was otherwise wonderful and well put our new possum-bonker to work filling our freezer for the next one! We especially loved seeing all the cool modifications in other peoples's trailers. Barry, sorry for drooling on your carpet, steps, and awning mat. We couldn't help it. Katie

Anyone with an Airstream can attend. It will be held in Fletcher, just outside Asheville, at the fairgrounds. I am sure some one can direct you to the details.

OK, I admit it....it has taken me until today to recover from the weekend. Too much fun?? Naah, no such thing. As Commander Cody once said, "too much fun.... that's news to me; too much fun....well there must be... a whole lotta things I ain't never done....'cause I ain't never had too much fun.
I had a blast, probably more fun than anyone.
Thank you ALL for making Alumalina such a memorable weekend.

OK, here it is....
I have checked the Park, and a couple of other items, and have settled on the date for the FALL EDITION OF ALUMALINA
SEPTEMBER 26-28, 2014 Lake Wateree State Park.
I can almost guareentee the Park will fill up, so don't wait to reserve.
I will start a new thread soon, in the mean time MARK YOUR CALENDER.

I have our calendar marked for Fallina, but I don't think we will make it; will just be coming home from a month trip up to New England. But we shall see!
