I don't care who you are, that right there is funny..."and that's all I'm going to say about that".

spreads

OK folks, bread spreads- I work at a place that sells McCutcheons preserves They are a smaller company from Frederick MD. They have wonderful stuff like apple butter, orange marmalade, and "jams" like blueberry. I will get a case of mixed spreads to share with bread makers/tasters. Let me know what flavors to bring. I will let you decide, 12 flavors make a case. Pm me or list them on this thread. BTW anyone expecting NOT to gain weight at this rally is in denial. John

HI

That sounds great!
Do you have any with raspberries, ginger, or blackberries?

Nothing better than fresh, homemade bread.

All of those sound yummy.

I'll look for some good peach preserves, too.

Sorry, Gary, we will not be in Amish country for pb spread.

We'll be passin' thru Georgia, ought to be able to find peach something there.

You don't have to do it all, moparjohn.

doing it all

Yeah, I know, not trying to. But it might be in my nature. I like to have a good time, seeing others having a good time makes mine even better. John

and another glass of wine don't hurt either!
see you down the road!

I call it "doing for others to a fault".

Many of us are guilty of that at times.

I think folks are going to have a good time, and there will be lots of contributors.

Speaking of wine....we have been carrying around a couple of bottles of Prosecco which are earmarked for this rally. There is this concoction with frozen raspberries that I am dying to try....and hoping it will be warm enough.

If not, we'll have Jameson.

Maggie,

Jameson! I got a story about a $300 bottle of that stuff from back about 1997. Learned something else about you, good taste in that Irish concoction for sure.

PB spread, I got one place that might carry it, I'll try to check.

You could always make some of that , Gary.

I think it is just peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.
