I may cook up a mess of taters and onions to share at breakfast. Still planning on okra and maters for a side to have on Saturday.
We won't have our truck by then after all, so Beetlebob and I will be in our Subaru. Much easier to park.

The best laid plans...
Okay, it has come to pass that some close friends are swinging by our house on their way from Florida to Canada-- March 29. They will arrive late in the afternoon, and though my brother has volunteered to babysit them, we will need to leave by 3:00 to get home anywhere near the time they show up.
Sigh...
Trying to cram a full weekend's fun into a few hours is going to be challenging. Good thing I'm a morning person.  Reminds me of playing a game of speed golf.

I have just cancelled our site, if anyone wants to grab it.
Doug had a cardiac arrest late yesterday morning. I was sitting next to him at the time. If I had been gone for even 10 minutes he would have been dead when I got back.
He was in full arrest for over 30 minutes. His body is doing what bodies do when deprived of adequate oxygen for such a long period of time. We are at the ICU in Brunswick, GA.
Doug's daughter is here, my kids will be here today and my son will take Lily home.
Please pray for him, or whatever you do.

Okay, we grabbed Doug & Maggie's spot. We will be coming in the 28th and leaving the afternoon of the 29th. Anybody that wants site 17 from about 3pm on the 29th, let us know.
I feel bad about getting the spot because of somebody's misfortune, but we will be able to bring Bertha now.
