Dave,

Lets see, cleaning, safe packing, storage and delivery fees. We'll figure the bill later, or shall I say the premiums!

I wasn't able to be there this time, but I think I lost a cup too. Now looking forward to spring even more.

And congratulations John and family.

If I bring a cup, can I taste that Carolina Spring water in March?

I missed it last spring, too busy makin' carrot cake.

I'll bring cups for Sue and I.

Thanks, John for all you do, and Congratulations!

I must be a simple minded sort, I'm still laughing.

Maggie, don't forget we need a glass for Doug too.

Thank you all.....

you are too kind. We love you for it.

We will make sure Rita comes to the March gathering so definately bring your rally cup.

And while we are on the subject of the March rally, we are looking at March 21-23 or March 28-30 for 2014, just 6 short months away. I will need to call Lake Wateree State Park to make sure there are no fishing tournaments scheduled that may interfere. I will try to get that done right away.

Also, I talked to my fish cooking friend today, he said he would be insulted if we don't have him down to cook that great fish again. So plan on that for Sat nite.

As soon as I can firm the date with the Park I will start a new thread.

Enjoy the fabulous fall weather.

John and Susan

As is usual it will never work for everyone. Schools in the western portion of the state in Buncombe County will be out March 21-April 4th. That is if we do not get so much snow that they take it away. No matter when you choose there is likely to be one school that is out and another that is in session. We will keep our fingers crossed that one of these days the stars will align and we can make the trip down your way.
I would suggest that we try to do another one on this end of the state, but we do not have the local fish cooker and we do not have any of the "spring water" of which you speak

You're right Jon, it's busy busy times for everyone, us included. Hard to fit everything in.

I had been looking at one of the last 2 weekends in March in order to give the weather as long as possible to warm up some. And I still need to check with the Park concerning any fishing tournaments that may be scheduled on the lake.. So don't give up yet, it may work out.

I like your thinking John. But we don't need coffee cups for what you're proposing - we need us some Mason jars

I would use a straw, but it took 3 weeks for the skin on my tongue to grow back last time.

Sayla Grace

Announcing Sayla Grace
To all our great rally friends, thanks to you, helping me with the quick getaway this morning with the trailer allowed me to get to the hospital with just enough time to be there for her arrival. Mother, daughter and father all doing fine. 6.8 lbs, 19'', with her mothers red hair and her daddy's hair line ( very similar to mine...a wide part down the middle)

Well after being off line for what seems like forever, we are back for a couple days here at American RV in Albuquerque NM getting ready for the Balloon Fiesta.

After searching back several pages, I found the notice for the arrival of your granddaughter John. So happy to hear she is well and healthy starting her new life with a wonderful granddad and grandmom! So exciting!
Sending our best wishes to baby, mom, dad, grandmom, granddad! Grandkids are the best! New babies smell so nice, enjoy this special little girl, the newest member of the family. Watching her grow will bring treasured moments and memories! Congratulations!! May you have a wonderful life, little princess!
Kate & Don

Thanks Kate. The newest Airstreamer in our family is a real keeper. We hope to get her started right away with a trip to our local county park. Only 15 miles away so we can have a back up plan.

At only 6 weeks old, our now 41/2 year old grand went camping to the beach for 3 weeks. She wanted to come to Alumalina with us but had a dance thing to go to. Our 2 sons grew up in our various trailers, now both have their own. So we now go camping with 3 generations. Love it!!!!

John
