John,
Just got final approval to get Friday off. We should be able to get an early start on friday and arrive noonish. Glade to help with Bog in return for your help with 10x10.

Maggie
We can pack a mixer, no problemo. I also pack a blender and am not afraid to use it.

Life is good so you might as well enjoy it with friends.

To All,
On a side note, I have a bunch of stuff from my past streams (78, 79,74 and my current 89). But instead of lugging it to Alumalina I will take pic's for anyone interested. I have interior lights with fans (78 & 79), vents (78, 79) , interior lights from 89 when I converted to LEDS. Also misc AS stuff. If anyone has an interest we can talk. Will bring my laptop toview pic's. Looking forward to seeing new friends and old. BE SAFE In your travels.

Make sure if you have anything with coconut in it, it's labeled so I can avoid it (dislike, not allergy)! You don't have to not make it, 'cause others may really like it.

(I wasn't going to say anything at all, but when I read your note, I remembered biting into a dessert with coconut, and I grimaced and shuddered).

Steve, good idea on the used parts. In fact, good idea to anyone that has extra stuff lying around. Take a pic or bring it along, we can have a flea market.

I found another trigger for my migraines. Either flounder, shrimp, mussels, or crab. Crawling back into bed now, missing work isn't fun, and Maxalt, which works, costs more than I make at a day of work.

I found a recipe with raisins and nuts. Could easily leave the nuts out, or specific nuts. People can pick put the resins if they need to. Pecans, walnuts?

Poor Terry! .

Have you been to a chiropractor? Miracle workers, IMO. Might help.

Terry, sorry about the bad headaches, but not to worry, the fish is not flounder but a very nice white fish fillet. Contrary to popular belief, it is very difficult to get good flounder these days. Many places that advertise flounder are actually serving something else. But it is all good when prepared correctly.

The secret weapon I am bringing will make it EXTRA good.

Rest up, we need you at your usual best!!!!

I can't go to one, even if I wanted to, with all my patched together bones, steel pieces, and fused joints.

Terry,
My wife found a way to get it at a substantial discount. As soon as she gets up I will ask her and forward info to you. Hang in there.

I don't know that that is true. They may be able to help with your migraines, which could be a neck, head and cervical spine issue.

Might not hurt to try. Mine has resolved problems my doctors said that they could not.

I bit the bullet today and got my Maxalt script filled. My old insurance wouldn't pay very much of it, leaving me on the hook for most of the $1400 for 30 tablets.
I found out that as of March 1, my pharmacy now carries generic, and my new insurance will pay more of the amount. 9 tablets would have been $300. My new copay is $10 for them, since they are generic. Long story short, I still will get the headaches, but the treatment is more affordable.

Better living through chemistry!

Glad you can get some drugs without taking out a third mortgage Terry.

I just reserved space #147 today. Will be coming without Denise - her schedule just won't give her time for the week-end away.

I'll grill up some of the cheese and sausage pepper poppers that we made for the Highland Haven meet, either Friday or Saturday night. They go well with possum or fish.

I am assuming the coming snow will be melted away by then so see you all in Charlotte.

Brad/ Karen, the planets have aligned, glad it is working out for you to join us..

You need not bring anything in particular. We plan to have Friday nite possum bog ready for everyone so no one needs to cook. A potluck Sat breakfast,a quick lunch on your own , then our famous fish fry for Sat nite. Nothing to bring for the fish fry unless you have a desert or something. In between, we have happy hours, Sat am seminars, Sat pm open house, and a tons of fun.

Travel safe, see you soon.

John

Jim, so glad you can make it, wish Denise could be with you. I know how that works, my schedule is more flexible than Susan's , so I must often go alone. She wasn't able to make the VHH rally.

Folks, if you've never had one of Jim's poppers, you are in for a treat.

And Terry, we will try not to give you a migraine. My remedys are all liquid, over the counter type.
