Brad/Karen, one of these days it will work out for you guys to join us. If/when we do a fall edition again, maybe then.

Busy, busy times for sure. A year goes by in a blink.

We have a wedding we need to attend in April so probably won't see you at Springstream this year.

It has been a while since the last update, thought I would check in.

With old man winter holding a tight grip, and the annual hibernation in full swing, I for one am already looking forward to a break out rally in March.

All signs point to a fine time.

The possum is getting fatter by the day.

For those that want them, I have some more of those way cool t-shirts with the Alumalina logo.

And if you need it, a now famous Alumalina decal.

Plus a packet of that everything-you- ever-wanted -to- know about anything stuff.

RSVP if you haven't already, there is still time to fatten another possum.

Hurry up March.

Haven't seen Terry & Marie sign up yet. Hope you can make it, guys, would love to see you. And, maybe Terry will do mudslides.

Hope the weather is a bit more hospitable this year. We are getting a late start to our winter trip, not leaving here til about the 14th of February, going to Edisto Beach for two weeks of heaven on earth and meeting up with an Airstreamer from Charlottesville, Virginia there. Hoping she will mini caravan with us, then, to Alumalina.

I had REALLY planned on making this rally -- I had so much fun last year....but I just found out I will be in Huntsville, AL and can't possibly get home until Saturday morning. What a great bunch this is....but hopefully, the next one will be the charm. Barry

Some of us are having to go to greater lengths to attend than others...
My brother (yes, I have one) is retiring at the end of February, and I had to do some high-end schedule juggling in order for us to attend this time. Long story short, I am flying to Florida, picking up a U-Haul truck on the way from the airport, loading up all my brother's worldly possessions, hauling him to North Carolina, going home, hitching up the trailer, and driving to Charlotte for the rally.

So, if I seem a little more dazed than usual, there's a reason for it...

Like last year, if anybody needs anything, I'll be happy to haul it down for free delivery to the rally. Any seminars may be a bit sketchy, and they may take the form of me simply running to everybody's rig to offer free advice...

I may have a schedule conflict, but will be there Thursday, leave friday afternoon for work, and return sat afternoon. I'm trying to get switch done, but no volunteers yet. I least I'll be there for most of the fun.

so far gone and off the grid on an Airstream adventure that I wasn't 100% sure I'd ever be back on the darn grid again.. It will make some good camp fire fodder later on.

Terry/Marie, you have us all spoiled. Thank you for your commitment to the rally, especially under some less than ideal circumstances. We love you for it. Things would just not be the same without your techno saavy, perhaps one of those Alumalina cakes, and of course the mudslides. And thanks for your offer to haul freight from ODM at no charge. Too good to pass up. Folks, if you need some parts, now's the time to save some bucks on shipping.

Dave, been wondering if we'd hear from you. Glad you're in. It's been a year, we are older but are we any wiser?? Hmmm, sometimes I think I'm going backwards.

I will touch base with the campground and report back hopefully Monday. Looks like a GREAT crowd in the making. For any of you folks on the fence, better jump on in or risk missing a fine time, right here in your own back yard.
