Chillin...

Saturday night, with a not-too-cool breeze (not warm though), sitting at Brad's site waiting for darkness to highlight the fire in Thor.

Then the chimney log was added, and was very entertaining...Thanks Brad and the talented guy with the home-made poker, Lone Ranger jokes and all.

Thanks to John and his buddies for the great Rally and fantastic meal!

Thank- you John and Susan and your fish frying pals! The fish fry was a blast and I'm going to go home and tell our kids we ate "possum" bog - a little boost to our reputation as "the crazy parents" Brad and i had a great time and all your hard work was much appreciated. Rosie enjoyed playing with her new friends Lily and Shaq - she'll sleep all the way home today. Wishing everyone safe travels home.

Thanks to John, Susan and their fish-fry friends, also to all attendees who cooked such good food and made everyone feel so welcome.

A special thanks to those who loaned an oven and a hand-mixer, and made that carrot cake happen! What a great recipe! I'll be posting it a bit later.

A fabulous weekend, couldn't have been better.

Travel safe, everyone, and hope to see you at least by next year.

Just got home - wishing we were still there. Sure had a great time; so nice to meet all the great folks. John, you did a FANTASTIC job. You act like it's easy but I know it's a lot of work. Thanks for everything. Looking forward to seeing everyone again down the road!

Nice Weekend.

To Our Fellow Campers,

Pleasure to meet you and share the weekend, it was fun to put faces with forum names, good times.

To John and Susan,

You guys did great, nice setup, details and a fantastic Possum and fish meals. A tip of the Aluminum Hat to Sandlapper.

For those that didn't see it in person, a few pic's.

Morrie entertained the pre-Possum preperation with his accordian and it was a unique treat, thanks Morrie.

Also here's some proof of the good eats and this doesn't include Saturday's breakfast.

And yes Brad that's why fire pokers have the ends bent! Otherwise it'd just be a steel rod. Amazing how easy it is to entertain the adult male, fire, brews, sparks and a fire poker. So the Lone Ranger and Tonto were on the trail again ............

Alumalina praises

Highest praise to John and Susan for making this get together happen. It was obvious a lot of time and work went into the planning and arranging. And everyone pitched in for a great gathering.
I have never had better possum bog or fish fry! Just sorry Denise couldn't be there. This was by far the best rally we have attended in our three short years of streaming.

I am so sorry I couldn't be there with everyone....the fish fry alone is a major draw. BUT, I will be there for the next one. SilverLeaf has had lots of upgrades since I saw all of you last year and I'm going to be looking for some more good ideas! Barry
