Bad news. My Tow Vehicle has been damaged in an accident and we are not going to be able to make the rally. Nobody is hurt, just the truck. I hope everyone has a great time and the rally is a success.

Friday at the rally.
Well we went to the Bush's Bean factory today. We had 9 people. Bush's will be opening their new store and Restaurant the first of December. We had a great surprise at Clint's. Clint sang Rocky Top and two of the waitresses Clogged for us. Then Clint sang a few more songs. Pete won the Clint's T-shirt raffle.

We had a great spread of food cooked in the Dutch Ovens. Terry helped the new people with question and answer. All the food was great. I had a hard time deciding what I liked best. A big thanks to all the cooks. AND we had another surprise in store for us. The campground lets a band come in and play every other week. Well this was the other week. We was entertained by ELVIS. He sang Elvis and country songs for us. Regina and I stayed to the end, which was 9 PM.

Well we made it home with no problems. I hope everybody had a SAFE trip home with no mishaps.

WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR COMING TO OUR FIRST RALLY.

We have some great pics of all of you. I'll post them as soon as I find out how to get them posted here. If you would like to send us your pics here is our email address 1998valkyrie@gmail.com

Keep an eye out for the "DUTCHSTREAM RALLY 2010". The dates will be September 30 - October 3, 2010. It will be at Ripplin' Waters Campground. We have also thought up another event for you thanks to Dayle and Bonnie. So blame them not us haha.

We hope to see you all and more next year or sooner if you get in our area.

Thanks again
Jim & Regina

Jim and Regina,
Thanks to you both for a WONDERFUL weekend. You put alot of hard work in this rally and it really showed. We had such a good time making new friends and THANK YOU for introducing us to the "World of Dutch Oven Cooking". We never dreamed it could be so much fun. It was most enjoyable cooking the meals together at the pavillion...and what good meals they were!!! Looking forward to DutchStream 2010!!!!! It's gonna be tough topping this one. Take Care. See ya in 2 weeks at Lodge outlet.

Good Morning to the great Dutch Oven cooks. I just posted the following message on the Dutch Oven site the I told you about. I will get the sites address and post it here latter today.

This was our first DOG/Rally. We had seven trailers there. We all cooked up at the pavillion. We had several pots going and everyone was having a ball. Some just bought a Dutch Oven a week before the DOG/Rally. The lodge outlet store in Sevierville, TN gave us a 14" Dutch Oven to give away for our raffle. The couple that won just bought there first Dutch Oven last week. Then in one of our other raffles they won a chimney. We also gave away a Mair lid lifter. We bought that in Townsend, TN at the Backcountry store for our gift to the raffle. For breakfast we had different versions of Hungryman breakfasts. I need a recipe for something other than that. Does any one have an idea??

Johnny Nix will be at the Lodge outlet store October 17 from 11 AM to 3 PM. If anyone is interested. I'll be there and will check around to see if any of you are there so I can meet you.

We are doing the same DOG/Rally next October first in Sevieville. It will be listed as Dutchstream. If you have nothing to do come over and cook with us. Its fun and some more people are trying Dutch Oven cooking and enjoying it. I also passed out this web site info to them.

I enjoy cooking with the Dutch Oven and our Air Stream rallies. I recruit Dutch Oven cooking every time we go camping. It's the only way to eat food. [I now have eight Dutch Ovens. Like all of you say it is addicting.]
