Yesterday was a NASTY day, I am glad to be almost back to normal, or at least as normal as possible for US.. in particular, Airscreamers!

Ron, spell check wouldn't work for you because you make up your own language, anyway!

AGNA????

Sorry for the stupid question y'all, but, what's Airscream??

I was doing a search on the name and the forum came up. I manufacture a specialized security system designed for Airstreams named "AirScreamer." What a surprise.

"Airscream"

an "airscream" would be rally of airstream owners at or around Halloween at which the regular sort of debautchery and shananagans ensues.

I'm not sure if Tony, Ron or Tracy officially coined the phrase...but I'm sure that they have gotten it trademarked

I DO believe that we Midwesterners are definitely the owners of the trademark. We have a reputation UNMATCHED by any other area of our great country.. if you doubt that statement, read the Moraine Midwest rally thread. (allow a LOT of time)

then read about Airscream.. can you imagine what we are going to do with the goats???

If you figure THAT out, clue ME in!

New Member

I am trying to recruit a new member to the forum, as well as to Airscream.. a family in Iowa who bought something from me on Ebay.

So you ALL be good and act welcoming :-)

They have a 29 foot 1976.

Get those reservations it

Tony and I are having a blast drumming up ideas for decorating the airstream... What fun this will be...

But, don't feel obligatied. This is a perfect rally group to test the rally waters...

Hope to see more people sign up!!!

Thanks

Unhappy Bummer, timing is everything...

Howdy. I got kinda excited to see another rally planned, but when I checked the calendar, oops . We are going to Georgia for a week, probably leaving Thursday (10/8/04) after work , and driving straight through. However, if we leave on the weekend, we will try to swing through (in the Jetta, probably) since we plan to go south on IL 47 to Champaign (then south on I-57 to I-24 etc.).

Phil and/or Sue....

We'd love to see you if you can make it... Flamingo kid stopped in at the last rally, even brought pictures to prove she really did have an airstream LOL!!!

The only problem is, once you drive in.... you'll never want to leave..

Can't Wait!!!

Although it seems we are going to have a small group, (keep those reservations coming, I don't think you'll want to miss this one if you like halloween) I think this will be a frightfully fun rally.

We should have a desert table...at least... we have bubbling cauldrons!!! Flying ghosts, fog, and found some great prizes for decorations/costumes...

No reason to pass this rally up...

Best be thinking of some scary stories to tell around the campfire!

Can't wait to see you there!!!

Ron

why?

Because, even though Jury Call IS slightly inconvenient, almost NO ONE at Jury Call today understood the inmportance of Civic Duty and how much THEY would appreciate a fair jury if THEY needed one.

This is America.

right....

you're talking to the guy who had to get out of jury duty because the trial was expected to last at least three weeks. I am an independant contractor, i can't afford to live on 12 per day.

Everyone I was sitting near was pissed off because I had a good excuse

It's not 12 a day; it's TEN.. and I spent six on lunch, and five on a used book during lunch break.. so I'm doing great, right????

But I'm still happy to live here.
