AirMidwest is doing something DIFFERENT in 2013...we're going to Eureka Springs, Arkansas!! A poll was taken by our Fall Rally attendees and we have decided to try a change of scenery from our usual Branson Rally.

Dates: April 26th-28th 2013

Where: Wanderlust RV Park Wanderlust RV Park in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Eureka Springs' friendly RV Park and Cabins! in the Little Switzerland of the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR Eureka Springs, Arkansas in the Beautiful Ozark Mountains for area attractions and information.

Hey all... check out Wanderlust's site map under "about the park", Wanderlust RV Park in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Eureka Springs' friendly RV Park and Cabins! We will be trying to fill up closest to the larger Social Hall with the sites toward the lower end of the rows on the 2nd, third, fourth and fifth rows. If you don't need a pull through site, start at site 31 and go up from there...that row overlooks a nice ravine. I have reserved site 30 for us since it is closest to the social hall. You can reserve with a credit card that they will not charge to, they prefer cash or check at check-in.
We welcome all newcomers to Airstream and Rallies...Air Midwest is a great mix of great people...all friendly!! This is only my third rally, so, don't feel like the Lone Ranger...we have newbies every rally. This rally won't have a lot of planned activities, we will mix and mingle and have a get-together Friday evening, a casual open house of trailers on Sat afternoon, then a Pot-luck gathering on Sat. night. All events are optional...we just like to gather and talk about our Airstreams, learn from each other and make new friends! Hope to see all the "usual suspects" there and many we haven't seen in a while.

I'm booking our site as soon as they open this morning! We're here without our Airstream

but staying at 66 Center Street and are enjoying beautiful weather and I found a cool craftsman rocker for almost nothing! It's a great little town full of stuff to do and thanks Debi for taking on this rally, It's very much appreciated!

We made our reservations today and Kim was fantastic! She added spots 36-40 (we took 40 and 41 is already taken) and the views are fantastic!! So make your reservations if you want a premium view! 30-40 are great spots depending on your trailer size. Call Kim ASAP. They are so friendly!!

Don't worry Brad, We have a new sewer hose but I can use the old one for old times sake if you want! Google earth shows your site has a decent sized lawn attached to it! I'll remember to pull to the back of the site this rally!!! Excited for this next rally and Eureka Springs!!

We keep missing you at the rallies! We're sorry you can't make it again this year! We had a poll and the driving distance is just a little further for KC and St Louis but closer to the Oklahoma and Arkansas people. I guess we were all ready for some different scenery, I hope we will see you in the Fall.

Aren't you in OKC? That is 50 miles closer for you. We asked the farthest people--and they had no problem with it. Sorry you won't be coming. We will really miss you guys.

For the new ones. We have been going the the Spring and Fall Branson Rally since the beginning. Steve was it 4 or 5 years? The last time we were at Branson, James couldn't get backed into the spot before people were jumping in the airstream checking it out. The reason we have been unable to attend this past three Branson rallies is my husband was the President of the Oklahoma Region 9 Airstream group. The dates that were picked for the Branson rallies were the exact dates the Oklahoma Spring and Fall Rallies. Our obligation is to the Oklahoma Rally over the Branson Rally. James was voted in as VP for this year.
We have been to Eureka Springs twice, the passion play is great show there is a Lion rescue zoo just outside of town. I am sure you all will have a wonderful time as I have never met an airstreamer who wasn't fun to be around. You all will have a great time where ever you go. We miss seeing Isadora, straydog, Doc, Jerry & Don and many more who names I can't remember.

Thanks for your comments Mrs. CJ of OKla! I have always heard of you guys and hope we will meet up one of these days since we are practically neighbors...we live north of Blanchard, west of Newcastle.

Hey CJ,

The entire reason that Amy and I founded AIR Midwest was because of the great turnouts at the Branson rally. We started with the first one in October of 2007, and held one every April and October until military obligations had us turn it over to Kani (76Sovreign). Branson was chosen for many reasons, but most of all the great number of different parks that were available to camp, and the amount of entertainment/shopping venues. We also changed it up spreading the rally around to different parks (not that it was required, just nice change of scenery).

Hope all is well with you and James (I miss that guy), and if you make it down to San Antonio (We have an amazing rally going on its' 3rd year next May 31st), we would love to see you guys again.

This rally may fit into our plans. We're planning a late spring trip that includes Nebraska and some points further north. If we leave a few days early we may be able to see you in Arkansas.

That would be great! You can reserve and cancel with no penalties to make sure you get a great spot. I think this will be another great rally!
