I was just thinking since we are going with the Halloween theme, maybe someone can volunteer to tell a ghost story at the campfire one night. Something really scary.

Hi y'all. Shane and I just got back from a week in Destin FL. No, we didn't take the AS, but we saw some in Seaside, and a few along the highways. We had a good time with Shane's family, and some not so good moments too. Will save the details for Branson!
Ken, that apple pie looks yummy! I'm going to have to get practicing ASAP!
We will bring some prizes. I found something silly in Florida to donate!
Can't wait to see everybody!

It's chilly here today, reminding me of fall and.....Branson! Less that a month to go now.
We haven't done any camping this month because our son is visiting, and I'm anxious to get on the road again.
I've enjoyed Carol and Ray's posts and hearing from other friends about their recent camping experiences.
There should be a lot to talk about around the campfire!

Dang Parent's Day is making us miss Rally
Hey all,
So there is very little that could keep us away from the rally EXCEPT our kids and it seems that even though we are empty nesters now we still have some commitments - like Parents Day at our son's college. Jim and I will be headed to KC while half of you will be headed from KC to Branson. We were in site 55 - someone may want to snatch that up its a good one. We will miss you and will rely heavily on posts throughout the weekend to keep us connected. I had meant to try something like the image below for decor - now one of you Bambi folks can borrow...
I will be Wamping (that's work camping) at Babler state park outside of St. Louis the last week in September and Jim and I will be at Land Between the Lakes last weekend in October - if anyone is looking for company come see us. Makes me wish I had an app on my phone that would let me locate other rally members nearby...I'll get working on that.
