What a great weekend! A big thanks to the hostestess with the mostestsss, and both of their other halfs! We had a great time and really enjoyed seeing everyone again. Thank you to those that made the goodie bags too.
Thank you Nan for my new mini disc, it will take its place in my golf bag and shown off proudly.
The food was outstanding! It really is amazing all the different dishes we get to pick from. I am going to call it now that in 5 years this will be one of the largest rallys in the Show Me State!

We had a GREAT time at the rally. Not only was it our first rally, but it was our first outing in our Airstream. We met so many nice people and everyone made us feel welcome. We enjoyed visiting all the Airstreams, Argosys, and Avions too. They each have their own unique look. Very inspiring.
And to our hosts--one word--outstanding!

Hope to see everyone again! Is it spring yet?

We made it home safely, unpacked, and talking about Branson. I'm so grateful for my co host Nan, we had a lot of fun planning this Rally. This was the first Rally for about five couples and I hope to see them in the Spring. Great seeing all my " old" friends. I'm still full from Billy Gales. We do need a host for the next Rally.......

You both did a great job! I vote for Eureka Springs next year, only 45 minutes longer and the same distance from St Louis and KC. Just a thought but I hope everyone will chime in. Thanks to Carol, Nan, Drew and Ken for such a great rally!

We just got home. Went to Carthage and found parts for our oven (thanks Klate n Scott for the oven). Then somehow we ended up in Miami Ok. Too much talking and not paying attention so we went about 30 miles out of our way. Oh well great scenery.

Great weekend. The Indiana girls (Abbie and Debbie) made it home safely. The mom in me had to check on them since they haven't posted.

Thanks to Carol for making this so much fun to host. If you think you are getting out of seeing me every week you are wrong. Lol we are going on a quilt hop on Friday. Fun. Drew I won't make you see me every week and thanks for all your help

It was so fun to see all of our family and to have so many new additions. I truly meant what I said on Saturday night--it was a true pleasure planning this rally because of all of you.

I will get pictures posted in the next couple of days.

Love to you all

Nan

Great rally. Thanks to the great hosts!

Eureka Springs would be fine with us. A nice change of scenery.

Hey guys, a couple of things: first, any chance we can twist the arms of the Dutch Oven cook-off winners to reveal and post their secret recipes (meatloaf and sweet potato desert)?

Second, I saw someone (Drew, I think) making a list of who was in which slip; forum name as well as couple names. Could we post this info? I still have trouble putting names to faces to forum tags to trailers. There sure was a lot of cool tin on display!

Oh, and a "second" (or third) on Eureka Springs. Good idea.

We got home in fine shape, nearly 3" of rain was had at home so it was all good! Had a wonderful time! Thanks to our great hosts, it was a fun experience, as always. We loved getting together with old friends and finding new ones!

Eureka Springs sounds great for next spring. A change of scene! And shopping, lol!

Count us in!

Wherever you are!

We'll go wherever the AIR Midwest Rally is, but I will really miss Billy Gail's. Are we sure the other place will provide a free room or pavilion for our potluck? I love Eureka, too. And as I said, we'll go wherever the rally is held.

Shouldn't we conduct a poll before making a final decision, tho'? There were several of our usual members who missed this one...and they might want to weigh in, too.

We need hosts for the spring! Volunteers?

Ray and I have a document with all the information for the attendees of the Fall 2011 AIR Midwest. We will be glad to email it, and hope we can combine the information this year's hosts collected so we can all stay in touch and grow our group! I'm like Shane, I think it's going to get huge! Message Ray or I with your email if you want the list from last fall.

We had a great time - even if it was a bit rainy. Just made the sleeping better. Thanks so much for all your hard work, "Camping Carol" and Nan! And yes, Ken and Drew, too. This was one great rally! I don't know how you could be topped as hosts! The bar is high, very high! Thanks for the goodie bags, hosts, and Scott and Klate, too.

As for the list we have, we'll send what we have to whoever has the new information and hopefully we can combine and add to it as we grow.

We don't have information for the new folks. I don't think we want to publish the list with phone numbers, email, etc., on here? Ray and I don't want that much of our info on the forum since it's open to non-member readers (solicitors, spam, etc). Let's just email it to each other?

We had a wonderful time and it was so good to see all our old friends and meet new ones. I LOVE AIR Midwest!

If we move the location of the next rally all I would like to have is water that we can camp next to.

I agree about over sharing the attendees info--I was only thinking in terms of a complete RSVP (attendee) list combining first names with the Air Forums tag names (no e-mails, phone, address, etc.). Just trying to put faces of new friends to their Air Forums posts. If trailer info is available, great, if not, I can probably piece it together from memory. If we don't want to post it openly, just let me know or private message me.

If the Eureka Springs move gets to be too controversial, we could always just do another rally in addition to the Branson one(s). Just a thought.... :-)
