We came down that way a couple of years ago from NC to ToG. We had planned to make Falluminum but had the flu so missed it. At the time we were towing a Safari 25 with an F-150. No problem coming down, but I wouldn't have wanted to try to climb it with the F-150. Have a Ram 2500 Cummins now with a Classic 30 with drum brakes. No problem climbing it, I suspect, but I wouldn't want to come down until I get my disc brakes installed.

Thanks Matt. We were going to try to come up there after all. Ruthie was doing better a few days ago but we couldn't get a spot. They said something else was going on and were booked. We were going to ride up for the day on Saturday but wasn't doing well that day. Glad you guys had mostly good weather. I bet it was beautiful up there. Really missed seeing all you guys.

The kind folks at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are allowing us to reserve spots for the GA Mountain Air - St. Patrick’s Edition. Those present Saturday heard we will be in sections B, C, D, E, and F for March 16 - 18. You should contact the Fairgrounds and tell them you want to reserve a campsite for the Airstream Event.
Wider notice goes out tomorrow night, but wanted to let those who heard January for reservations hear the news first. Call tomorrow if you want to attend.
