Well, thanks in part, to the rally in Branson (and your hospitality) a couple of weekends ago, Sally and I are closing on a new FC 23FB tomorrow.

Oh, and by the way, does anyone here want to buy a slightly used Casita? ;-)

We bought at ReliableRV in Springfield, MO. During the open house at the rally, I had a chance to visit with the salesman showing the 30' International.

The franchise in SGF is brand new (<three months). They had just what we wanted in the interior that the missus could live with (Mocha Blue). :-)

I'll try to get some pics up this evening.

Okay, I took a couple. Heck, everyone knows what they look like inside and out, but they both have Sally in them, and maybe some of you will remember her.

While we closed on the trailer yesterday, we won't take delivery on it until Thursday.

Then, we're off the following Monday to Petit Jean State Park, near Morrilton, Arkansas (BTW, wasn't one of the attendees at the rally from there?). We've been to Petit Jean, and it's quite nice. Although the Lodge/Restaurant is closed until Spring of 2012 for restoration, there's a killer Mexican restaurant in Morrilton.

I promise to do my best to show up at the Fall rally. That said, CJ, If you were in my shoes, would you ask your wife to camp out in your back (almost) yard?

We've been together over 45 years, and I think I know what she's going to say in advance.

Murray, I know the feeling. It took a while to convince Tim to camp out in the driveway with me (before the AS was roadworthy). But, he finally did, for one night!!!

Plans are tentative for same place, Acorn Acres at Branson, and the middle of October. Probably the weekend of October 14, 15, 16. But we haven't set that in stone yet. Myself and Terri (Mrs. Jay53) are the hosts, Phyllis (69 AirDream) is going to help us, too, I think. Hopefully we can get advice from Brad & Mitch, who did such a great job with the spring rally.
(I'm loving my Citizen's watch! Thank you again~Brad!)

The spring rally was so good it's a hard act to follow. But we'll try to make sure our fall rally is wonderful, too!

We're going to leave on the 28th heading up to Ohio for Alumapalooza and parts North, but expect to have deal worked out with the CG before we leave. I'll be seeking gifts for our fall rally while I'm there!

Oh, and I'll say this - we will be cooking for a potluck only once - which probably means group open grill or men's barbeque night or something like that. And, we'll keep the overly exuberant welcoming committee going, too. (who WERE those crazy people?}

So, you may have to try to sneak in late or VERY early if you want to avoid being descended upon!
