I'm glad the Airstream was ok! Tad bit jealous ...I'm at my desk doing expenses and weekly paperwork for my team.

Hello all. We arrived at the AA last Friday from Montrose, Colorado and my Mom came in on Sunday. We have a 1995 Airstream Excella and we are looking forward to meeting such a nice group of Airstreamers.

I don't like drink by myself but, but but never mind.

We have other friend we are meeting tonight and must spend some time with them but will be apart of your get together.

It has been raining all morning but think it will clear this afternoon

Bob and Pat from Colorado

Welcome Bob and Pat! Ray and I and Captain & Jeri will be pulling into Acorn Acres on Wednesday morning. For now we're just over the holler from you at Mill Creek.

Can't wait to see everyone.

Brad, I love you soooooo much... You're way too good to me! What do you want, hon?

We got the Don and Jeri to stay up till 11 last night- and we laughed and talked till the neighbors in the SOB pulled out this morning. Y'all believe that? And it rained this morning and they slept in longer than us!! Wow!

SOB folks probably didn't even hear us. They were holed up running their AC while we slept with windows & curtains open!

Teddy is going to get groomed tomorrow so he'll be ready for the rally! Ray & I might bathe, too! Ain't y'all glad? We've been enjoying real camping out here- complete silence (and dark) at night! Only a few other campers

See y'all soon! The sun is shining!

We are about an hour and a half away from AA now. Passed by Mecca (AKA The Candy Factory)! Will be making a stop there on the way home.

We have leftovers to eat tonight, while I make out our grocery list for tomorrow's tour of the Food Market!

Also plan to decorate our sombreros at some point.

Yes Brad, Cindy's trailer is a Mark Twain, but we don't know if that is the Make or Model. I think she said it's a '67.

By the way, there's a grocery store called Harters Market at Kimberling City, on the lake, which has a huge and wonderful meat market.

Bought some 8 ounce filet mignon there this afternoon. It was honestly one of the best, if not THE best I've ever tasted. And we've had steak in lots of places. I can heartily recommend this market.

It's on highway 13.

Well, we are getting the Silver Bullet all cleaned up & loaded. We are newbies having only attended the Central Texas Rally last year organized by Soldiermedic. Think most of you know him. We had a wonderful time & look forward adding to our list of Airstream Friends.

How many are signed up & what is the head count for potluck?

15 to 18 trailers and figure 2 per trailer, I would say a good 30 people. Everyone always brings food so I wouldn't cook a whole lot if don't want to.

I can't wait to see you all again!

We decorated our sombreros today. I think Shane's is better than mine, so y'all better bring it! Haha!

Enjoying just sitting here, listening to the breeze, and some Steely Dan, and NOT WORKING!

I did our sombreros today! Classy and a bit pretentious! But we can't win anyway since we're donating the ladies watch! We're both so excited to be there, I brought home the Bambi and she's all washed and clean. Tomorrow I'll pack her up, change the oil and make the cheesecake for Carol. I'll be ready for a margarita!

We originally said Queso & Chips, but I have a 16" Dutch Oven & make a mean cobbler that would serve 30 +. Your call!

Cobbler it is! I'm thinking peach, but cherry is a second choice. Either sure would be good with a little vanilla bean ice cream.

Either one is good by me! We can get some ice cream right before the dinner! The Bambi's freezer isn't big on space!

That works for me. Now as to cherry or peach, & do you want to cook it during dinner or around the campfire? It takes about an hour. Anyone else have a preference?
