I don't know about the food specifics ~ Sometimes I don't know until I get there what all I'm going to cook! I think it works fine if you give people the theme and then just let them bring whatever they want within that theme. We always have tons of food and never want for anything at the potlucks. Last fall we had enough leftovers to eat a meal on Sunday even though lots of people had already left....so don't stress yourself too much about the food. It shows up and exceeds expectations at every rally we've been to. (The cajun feast at Texas Piney Woods Rally was amazing as well as the pies and barbeque at previous AIRMidwest Rallies.)

The schedule is just a rough idea of when some of us will be doing what - except I know you really, really want to get everyone there for the group photo Sunday morning. Yeah, yeah, I'll get up.

One must be at Billy Gails for breakfast before 8 a.m. to avoid waiting in line. We went at 7:30 last fall. Yeah, I'll get up again. Dang campers always get up early, except for me....and Mrs. C LOL At least I'm not the only night owl in this group!

I have no sombrero yet. Gotta' go to the party store, I guess.

We're in a mess around here. Trying to get ready and leave early so we can visit Blair's WBCCI Rally in Springfield THIS weekend! Yikes. Also trying to get our house ready to go on the market....double yikes!

Don't forget, besides wood, it's good to have some visqueen or tarps in case the rain/wind decides to blow in the pavilion while we're gathered.

Shane, if you remember last year, the park staff brought all their picked up kindling to our bonfire site. They helped us a lot with wood. Hope your friend Bob is prepared to have bonfires in his campsite! LOL

Also, we never figured out during the first rally (for us) last spring, but Acorn Acres, bless them, close the bathrooms in the pavilion during our rally so only our group can use them. Nice! And they give us exclusive use of the pavilion during our entire rally. I love those folks.

Shane scoffed at me making Flan so we going to make him eat it! I've got a tarp and will get some wood for the fire. Wine and marshmallows anyone??

We made reservations to join you & meet new Airstreamers. You can count on us for Queso & chips. We will arrive Thursday 3rd & depart Monday. Also we plan to play Golf one day if anyone would like to join us.

We just moved from Austin, TX.

OK food plan change! Everyone just bring mexican food. Bring enough to serve family style. I will be to hard to get one person to take care of all of one thing. So cook up a storm and lets feast like kings!

I think a nice Sangria would go well with marshmallows, but so would cherry chocolate Pepsi....LOL

BTW, if you're ever in Sarasota, FL at St. Armand's Circle, have the sangria at Columbia. All that fresh fruit floating in it....yummy. I can't find any like it anywhere.

Hey Shane,
Saw the agenda - and the food change which I think makes good sense - too hard to coordinate lots of food. We'll bring Carnitas and salsa to share.

As a newbie I did have a few questions. Can we opt out of some things on the agenda? I'm fine if you all want to check out Roameo but I'm not sure I want to decorate. Also I'm not sure we'll have time to put together sombreros - so maybe we can help judge - we're very good at judging

we judge SOB trailers all the time.

Looking forward to seeing you all - we arrive Friday evening.

Loislane we are glad to have you with us. You do not have to join in our events if you don't want to. We are however giving away a very nice ladies watch for the best sombrero so you might think about doing that one at least. Some do decorate their AS and some don't so you won't be the only one.
