AIR Midwest Spring 2014 Glamping Rally April 11-13
The clamping part is pure marketing!
The dates are set.
The location is set.
The itinerary is shaping up.
We chose another new spot.
Paradise Valley Resort is a private campground in Roaring River State Park and near Cassville, MO.
Trout fishing and hatchery tours, hiking, and golf are near the park.
Bentonville, AR (home of Crystal Bridges Museum and other nice attractions) is an easy 45 minute drive.
Home - Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Eureka Springs is 25 minutes away. You may go if you wish, but I stay away from there. Watch out for slick steps!
And before you worry too much, a Wal-Mart Super Center and Tractor Supply are 10 minutes away.
Full hook-ups are $20.00 per night. Early arrivals and late departures are fine.
As this is a private park we will handle the reservations. So, PM me with requests. And PLEASE RSVP on the forums calendar, so I can keep a close count. You can settle up at the park during the rally.

Cool! I was wondering when we would hear about the Spring Rally and then, duh...I woke up early this morning and it hit me that I had not looked for a new Spring Rally thread!!...and here it is! Pleasantly surprised to hear it's going to be in Roaring River! Jim & I left the fall rally and headed over there and stayed 3 nights in the park. It is a beautiful park. We drove in to Paradise Park to look around and it will be a nice place for our rally!!
Looking forward to Spring that's for sure! This cold snap with ice and snow is NOT my favorite weather.

OK...I was going to post on the Fall thread about the Spring rally and when I click on the fall thread it takes me to last years 2013 Spring Rally...hmmmm?? Also, I'm not able to post on the RSVP page...maybe because I changed my user name? Not sure, but I will send them an email to see if it can be fixed.

I've marked the 2014 Spring Rally on our calendar. Now I just have to work on making the stars align. We're headed that way in late April to work on a Habitat for Humanity project in MO. Maybe the Spring Rally will fit into that trip.
Last April I was the lucky winner of the super-fabulous watch! If I attend the 2014 event am I allowed to register for the watch drawing again? OR do I have to sit out a year?

We are Paradise Valley members, so will definitely plan to be there! We love Roaring River! Sounds like a great opportunity for a fish fry. Trout fishing is the best! Lookinig forward to it!

I will guess the snow and ice had folks surfing the web for something to do.

During the holidays and cold weather, April seemed so far away.
But not any more.
I see 17 trailers saying yes, and 3 saying maybe so far.
If anyone is coming earlier than Thursday or staying later than Monday, please let me know. It is not a problem, but I would like to let the resort know what to expect.
We will publish a complete agenda soon.
Stay warm, and start sending wishes for a warm weekend in April to the weather Gods now.
