For those looking to navigate to Paradise Valley, forget the address listed on the web site.

Just come to Roaring River State Park. We literally have to drive through campground 1 to enter Paradise Valley Park. Look for the single lane bridge and sign after driving by the Ranger Station at the pool.

The weather forecast looks great.

Please bring check or cash for the camping fees. As this is a membership park, they don't get much public business and have no process for using cards.

We are all ready and have been looking at 50s food to bring to the potluck, some of the food trends in the 50s were pretty weird. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'm making chicken Tetrazzini for Sat night. Not sure I'm bringing my 50's dress attire, but hey...it will be a blast I'm sure!! Just looked at the RSVP list and pleasantly surprised to see Tim & Phyllis is coming!!! Yay...long time, no see!! We'll be there Thursday late afternoon...woohoo!!

Jeff, I think Phyllis & Tim are coming with their 1969!! She emailed me & i didn't see it until today. I am so excited! She said she would RSVP if she could remember her password!! For those who don't know them, Phyllis was one of the co-hosts with myself & Terry for the Fall 2011 AIR Midwest rally at Branson.

This is going to be a great rally. A new place for us. Never been to Roaring River although I lived in the Ozarks for 19 years - and always heard about it.

This is going to be FUN! You know GiGi & I are 50's vintage - Lot of good memories & good times. It's a wonder I made it through the 50's alive - '55 Chevy was the hot one back then & 120 mph was common on those old roads.

We are so sorry! We didn't see your response because things got all hectic last night & this morning. We had too many last minute last things to do, so, we had no time to check phones, etc!!

We sure hope you two didn't wait for us at Russellville!!! We are just now passing Russellville! We didn't get out of town until 12:45. We still have trouble getting out! Something always delays us!

So, we're behind you! You're probably already set up!! We're just slow!
It wasn't until we were finally in the truck moving that I had time to check messages, etc.

We are on the road but it could be a late arrival 10 or 10:30 - let us know if there is any issue with getting there that late. Jeff if there is somewhere specific we should camp let us know - I don't want to wake anyone up...

We won't get there until late Friday afternoon, have to wait until Kolton gets out of school and we can deliver him to his keepers, lol! Should be there about 5 pm or so. Almost packed and ready, woo hoo!

Ditto for us, hope to hit the road by 10:00 --- which in Jim Lee time is 11:30! Looking forward to the weekend, in cleaning the trailer Regina found two set of nick and Nora flannel sheets with Airstreams and pink flamingos for twin beds, new. Door prizes!
