Don't forget to check the rally calendar. There is a place for you to add your name to the list of who is coming.

Just made our reservations at Blanco. No hassles, used the reservation line number and only had to hold for a couple of minutes. Hope there is not a fire ban at the park like we encountered at Lake Georgetown last week. Nothing like toasting marshmellows and melting the soles of your hiking boots against a fire ring.

Signifigant rain is forecast for this weekend and that may lift the fire bans.

Wouldn't you know that my band is scheduled to play outside for Victorian Christmas both Saturday and Sunday and we will probably be rained out. I'm not about to risk a $3000 banjo in the rain.

Smile Beer there done that

Happy thanksgiving everyone!
Well I am taking it as a NO on the beer tour. we are lucky to have seen the
brewery when it was in the hands of the young beer stewards, they were a lot of fun the way they jumped all around the place and told us they drink as much beer as they please each day, I remember a fat cat and a fabulous old bottling machine also.
We do have the parade to look forward and the FREE CANDY !
Ohhh I love when they toss candy from moving decorated vehicles with sirens!
It sure gets your adrenaline pumping! You need some beer back at camp after that!
Wonder what the weather will do, lets see last week we had our first freeze, lasted about 4 hours, maybe 2 nights in a row, then it was 86, today it rained, tomorrow 80? It's one of those Texas winters, it could be between 80 and 30 degrees! so plan accordingly

let it snow let it snow let it snow.......nah, just kidding, though it was cool having snow in galveston and corpus christi last christmas. I'll be hoping for clear cold evenings so the campfire will be fun and warm days so the shopping and antique browsing will be fun. I'm packing my shorts and t shirts along with the thermals and parka.

Free Beer - That´s what I´m talkin´about!

Oak Hill:

Hope you can make it happen!

Looks as if this year´s attendance will be bigger than anticipated!

MikenLora will be there with their trailer, and Mary and I will bring the 345 and the pups again.

Question wireless

Hey I noticed that Blanco State Park is doing a test wireless service there. The info said to go the providers site for info, I found this:

How to Purchase Service
TengoInternet’s wireless Internet service can only be purchased at a TengoZone location. While at one of our locations, you can purchase the service through our online registration process by using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Ask the front office, for a green and white brochure titled “User Guide” which has detailed login instructions. Login access is not available through www.tengointernet.com.
If you choose to purchase the TengoInternet service online, there are four simple steps.
If you choose not to purchase Internet service online using a credit card, some campgrounds also offer pre-paid access cards for sale in their office. At these campgrounds, the campground staff will provide you with a “coupon sticker” with the access code necessary to login along with a User Guide. With this option, you do not have the option to create an account that will eliminate logging onto the system every time you need to access the Internet. The auto-login feature is only available when Internet access is purchased through the online registration process

Has anyone used this service at a campground? Sounds cool. They state
Blanco SP as Tengo location, so I am thinking if you want this you must wait till you get there to buy it. Hey we can email each other's Airstreams if it's cold outside, you'll probably get one from me!
By the way, as far as I can tell there is no burn ban in Blanco county even tho the rest of central Texas is under one.
*Barking Spider if you can't find a reservation, you can call the park direct about 9:00 AM Saturday morning and if someone didn't show up from the night before's reservations they will give their spot away and you can charge it over the phone and it's held. wow when I last looked there were 17 spots. looks like a party is brewing along with that Beer
looking forward to TGIF

There WILL be four from Katy in attendance.

What Homer Simpson Has To Say About Beer

Homer no function beer well without.

Beer... Now there's a temporary solution.

Beer....Ah, the college road trip.

Perhaps we could encourage Moe to arrange a visit from Duff Man?
You must love this country more than I love a cold beer on a hot Christmas morning.

I've figured out an alternative to giving up my beer. Basically, we become a family of traveling acrobats.

Bart, a woman is like beer. They look good, they smell good, and you'd step over your own mother just to get one!

All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer.

3pm on Friday,,, hmmmmm that means I have to take the whole day off. Ok. Making a deadline for a beer tour seems like a good reason to me. Becky has a conference call at 1pm...... guess that will just have to be a mobile one....those people on the west coast will be none the wiser. I'm sure I can convince Chuck (Aliner) to sluff on work too on Friday so he can leave early. So I guess that makes Chuck and I for sure and Becky as a maybe depending on whether she can ease out of her conference call.
