Hey I noticed that Blanco State Park is doing a test wireless service there. The info said to go the providers site for info, I found this:
How to Purchase Service
TengoInternet’s wireless Internet service can only be purchased at a TengoZone location. While at one of our locations, you can purchase the service through our online registration process by using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Ask the front office, for a green and white brochure titled “User Guide” which has detailed login instructions. Login access is not available through
www.tengointernet.com.
If you choose to purchase the TengoInternet service online, there are four simple steps.
If you choose not to purchase Internet service online using a credit card, some campgrounds also offer pre-paid access cards for sale in their office. At these campgrounds, the campground staff will provide you with a “coupon sticker” with the access code necessary to login along with a User Guide. With this option, you do not have the option to create an account that will eliminate logging onto the system every time you need to access the Internet. The auto-login feature is only available when Internet access is purchased through the online registration process
Has anyone used this service at a campground? Sounds cool. They state
Blanco SP as Tengo location, so I am thinking if you want this you must wait till you get there to buy it. Hey we can email each other's Airstreams if it's cold outside, you'll probably get one from me!
By the way, as far as I can tell there is no burn ban in Blanco county even tho the rest of central Texas is under one.
*Barking Spider if you can't find a reservation, you can call the park direct about 9:00 AM Saturday morning and if someone didn't show up from the night before's reservations they will give their spot away and you can charge it over the phone and it's held. wow when I last looked there were 17 spots. looks like a party is brewing along with that Beer
looking forward to TGIF
