So I will plan the April/May Eastern Washington rally, ok? We'll do a big German dinner this time. Brauts, red cabbage, etc. And Jim and Mona can speak to us in German while we eat so if feels more authentic.

If you haven't set a date yet...I vote for early April, or late May April 15th thru May 16 is locked out for us. I missed attending last year, and then you had to cancel on Beverly Beach, so we haven't got a chance to meet you yet. Looking forward to a rally in eastern WA.

Chris - I'd love to make this one, but our AS is in inaccessible storage until the end of Feb. The price was right, and I had to have my driveway back for the winter! I'm living vicariously thru the forums until then - have fun

Chris,
Put us down for G26 if it's not taken. Hope I don't trip over any firepits between sites this year!

Ok Jim, It is yours. We'll put some caution tape around the firepits for ya ! lol

Ok, G-19 and G-26 are both gone !

I can reserve more sites if need be, or you can make your own reservations.

This by any means does not mean the rally is full. There are more sites at the campground.

So if you want to join us feel free and....

don't forget to sign up on the rally calendar.

You can never have too many Airstreams at a campground can you ?

Kathleen, fyi the sooner you can nail down a date the better chance I have at getting some time off.

Eastern WA Rally

Well I need to do a bit of thinking on possible rally sites and dates. I think it would be fun to boondock up near Leavenworth along Icicle Creek, but some people really like those hook ups and showers too.

As far as early April, you will be asking a lot of a first time mom with a 2 week old. My guess is late April/early May will be best for us. I'll try to have a new thread up with a poll for places/dates within the next few weeks.

By the way I did buy Baby Ralf's first Airstream rally outfit today. Flamingo on hat, onesie, and socks.

Kathleen

So THIS will be our first rally (NorCal will now be 2nd)-- and we haven't even been on a maiden voyage! We have our work cut out for us to make it- but the inspiration is just what's needed.

We'll be in G18.. all 5 of us... [Is this a dog-worthy event - hard to tell when reserving on-line.]

I can bring a mean Ceasar Salad, and something for a main course... must decide what....

sequoiacoast, It will be great to see you. If you have one of those suscide (sp) doors, make sure you tie it down. We lost our door on this rally last time. No one should have that experience. This is a great group to have your first rally with. See you there.
Don

Hi NorCal,

Are you bring your Flying Cloud? Some day I would like to choose which Airstream I get to tow to a rally.

Norcal, I don't have the suicide door, but I am destined (knock on wood) to forget my vent lids need to be tapped (screws broke off) and attached before I go anywhere!! I can't wait to go... this is what I've been working toward for a year now!!

BTW..... Are there going to be any kids???? ~~~~or dogs???

We might bring one dog. I'm leaving the one who barfed on everything at Silver Falls home though!

Oops!

Attention South Beach Rallyers

I just looked at the SP park map and see we picked a short campsite (32').....we need at least 40' and 50' would be perfect. would anyone with a longer site be willing to trade (JDL?)? We've decided to bring our 28' CCD.......our Argosy is not quite ready to roll yet.
I also talked today with a friend in Corvallis who is purchasing a new 25' CCD and will be picking it up in two weeks. I told him about this rally (and ASforums)............ he may try to make this his "maiden voyage" (how cool would that be)!
