We'd be open to a Rally in Three Rivers... the place looks nice...

For everyone looking for another Rally... come join us at Dardanelle in Sept as well -- it's gorgeous up there!! There's a thread with the details....

Hey Mrs. Mod, we'd be up for a rally in May, mid-month or something. Sequoia looks nice and your description sounds enticing!

Ok, glad to hear there is a little interest. Perhaps I will open a new thread on the topic. I would imagine they would be more willing to give a discount if we went in November. They are usually pretty well booked. We went last november and all the trees were turning colors, it was very beautiful. We did get some heavy rain an it changed the river dramatically overnight. We enjoyed the adventure but not the impromtu opportunity to look for leaks....eek!
I'm hoping we can still make it there in two weeks. Last night, John was in a small rear end accident in the truck and now our rear bumper and hitch are tweaked up.

Glad you received something back from them, one of my agenda items with the manager was your fee to change sites

Still working on another....

I just noticed that CAM has indicated he was banished to the "F" ing sites. Under the rules of engagement thaat would indicate to me that the full hook ups are full. SO a lot of folks are not coming forward and revealing their choices. then again those spots could be full of sob,s. Just thinking out loud that if any spots are open inn the full hook up area that they are , open for others, You know the sob's could care less about our rally, lol
And as far as Scott goes about us River Rats, The sites really aren't that nice, the view of the river ain't that good, and the lack of prevailing wind makes it difficult to dry wet clothing on the awning arms,It's uphill to the bathroom, downhill to the river, but close enough to carry a kayak. The sites are in a line, partial morrning sun, very hot in the afternoon, and they get about a nano-second more sunshine , the daze are a little longer down there. I'm busy with my boat racing and cannot attend other drainpipe events, but I'll see everyone at the reservation in Oct. Will the potluck be 5 P.M. there also. I think it should be held in the mid-afternoon when the warm sun may still be shining. later, DG

I'll have a couple more blog posts coming up on how delightful Duncans Mills and the area was. Thanks again, Jeff and to all who helped make this event happen. Hope to be back next year.

Mid-afternoon potluck sounds great, leaves more time for multiple deserts before darkness falls.

Can't wait...

Jeff, we have reserved spot #54 for at least Friday & Saturday (working on Thursday); sorry, it kinda messes up the map.

My appointment secretary tells me the we are in 141, April 16 - 21. I remember we had got 'late' word that signups for a lower rate had begun and we got the last if not the almost last full hookup. We may want to arrive earlier (I guess I will have to work that out with Casini) or as we did last year spend a few days at Bodega before tecking up to Casini. If we are not the first will there be someone to 'Greet' US......

Welcome, Katie and Kyle. We have been greeting many new folks to our spring rallies at Casini and at Jackson Rancheria in the fall. We 'ole' timers enjoy adding to our fun group.

This years Casini wasn't going to be possible but we worked it out :-)

Not sure where we will be. I will call and see what's left.

Site Map Update :)

Hi all, this is out current updated site map!
There are a few of you that haven't let us know your site location.
Casini shows all of the full hookup sites booked
Chime in when you can or if you know someone that isn't shown.
Thanks!

For those interested in Sonoma County park-Doran Beach.
On the web page for Doran Beach it is indicated that the paving project is finished. The pot holes weren't all that bad IMHO.
I'll be there a few times in Nov. ,crabbing, try to post a pic of the new road.,
We'll be at Doran for a few days prior to Casini, I have no problem with the wind.Yup it blows like snot there most of the time.
