I am confused by the dates being thrown around....but, I know for sure that Loop B is first come/first serve, but Loop C has reservable sites. We stayed in C-09 in 2011....room in the parking spot for our 30' Classic, our one-ton GMC Denali truck, and our son's Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6.

We will likely host another ice cream social on Friday, so it would be nice to know how many are planning on coming! The more the merrier, as the saying goes.... Anyone who likes to kayak and/or fly-fish, Manzanita Lake is a good place for both!

Hi all... is there electric??? we do have the generator but plugging in is nice too... thx for the info... I'll go make a res for "A"' loop... if possible... hugs and all that.. will post site info when I get it....
sorry we missed Casini... sounds like it was a grand time!!! but then, isn't it always!!

One interesting element of the Friday night cocktail party was the arrival of a newspaper reporter with Bay Area News Group, who was camping in a teardrop trailer across the park, and was dazzled by all of the shiny aluminum.. She finally published her story about teardrops, Airstreams and our NorCal weekend at Casini Ranch in the San Jose Mercury News, Sunday edition today.. If you look for additional photo's, there are pictures of Suzy in her trailer, and the lineup along the central section.. Hi Jeff, I believe there's a typo in you message re the dates. You say 27 to 20th, I believe it should be 17 to 20. We've got reservations in loop A for Thursday thru Tuesday, although we're probably go to head out on Monday to camp in Oregon.

BTW, I believe it's Scott and Peter in the Merc's Sunday article picture.

Regarding the mini rally at Manzanita Lake-Just making sure my facts are straight it is next week right ??

Mark and I were only able to get a reservation for the 17th and then we will have to scramble for a first come first serve site for the rest of the time.

It will be our first time boon docking but Neil what makes you think we can't "glamp" while boon docking ?? My chandeliers are battery powered you know!!

I'm looking at light weight cheap inflatable boats just to have some fun on the water any suggestions ?

Try to get there before Friday, and your chance of getting a place in the B Loop are pretty good! We look forward to seeing you guys....and Gracie! Make sure to bring along your Senior Pass (if you are old enough ) for the National Parks. If you don't have one yet, you can purchase it for $10 when you get there.

You can't miss us in the A Loop...

Hi Denise,

I didn't see your post until after I shot off a reply to Gail & Don! If I were you, I would cruise through the B Loop when you arrive on the 17th....if you find a spot there, grab it, then go talk to the camp hosts. I am sure they will let you apply your reservation to that spot. Either way, come by and see us in the A Loop once you get settled! We are hard to miss....
