Barbie-I just read your post about the eggs-I really, really, really want to do it!! I have been wanting to learn to do those eggs forever!! I am so excited!! Thank you !! I think I have a couple of books I could bring to look at just for fun. Do you need us to bring anything else other than the eggs ?

Welcome Steve! I'm sorry you received a snarky reply. This will be our third time meeting with this group and our first time at Casini. You should know that we love these trips and everyone has always been warm and welcoming and full of tons and tons of helpful Airstream advice. We look forward to meeting you as well!

I'm set with the tools and wax and dyes.

Empty egg cartons for people to carry their dyed eggs safely would be handy. And if anyone orders pizza to go and gets those little plastic three-pronged tables, those are a great help. They make perfect egg stands while the dye dries or any time you're not holding your egg.

Steve, you will be next to us, a brown Class A Airstream, certainly an "unusual" item in the middle of all the silver. There are a few other Class A's that are not silver, like Adam, and I had some hesitation because of the obvious visual difference but we have had a great time with the NorCal group, and look forward to meeting you.

In case it was not posted, there is usually a Friday evening informal get-together with a few appetizers and adult beverages in addition to the Saturday pot luck.

Looking forward to meeting a new neighbor,
Cliff & Andrea

This will be our first rally and our first time at Casini. We made our reservations several months ago and ended up with site 70, down by the river. According to your updated map, it looks as though there are sites closer to the group. We would like to be a little closer. Do we contact Casini to make the change? Or, can someone give recommendations about which sites are best? Maybe 70 is good? We will have our dog with us. Thanks! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Welcome. The river sites are nice and may shelter you from the sometimes gusty winds. If you want to be closer try what we call "F" Troop row is popular. It has partial hook ups. You will find yourselves joining in the activities at 'party central' much of the time.....

The F row spots are on a slight rise above the central part of the group and give a great view of a sea of silver. We liked being there. (We just like being able to shower without having to lug a bucket to the bathroom - no gray tank in our '71)

We were "down by the river" last year and while they are nice sites, they are definitely a little removed from the group. In fact, we just booked site #93 for this year's rally.

Robin & Marshall, simply call Casini requesting a site change closer and perhaps the remaining F sites are OK with you. If they inform you of a service charge to make the change, let me know, I'll get it refunded as they have done so in the past by sending out a voucher certificate for the cost.

Barbie, we are in the full hook ups but we'll be carrying our 'Blue Boy' because we'll be at Bodega 1st. You are welcome to use it.....it has wheels and if it's too heavy I have the hitch attachment. Works for me.
