2013 Fall Rally Oct 11-13
While the Spring Rally is still fresh in our minds I thought I should keep the momentum going and start the new Thread! The Rally dates are October 11-13. I am still in the narrowing down process of the location but that will be decided very shortly. The top candidate so far is beside a lake and the pics I have seen are beautiful! I just need to have a discussion with the owners to finalize all the squishy details.
I understand people need to make plans so I'll post the location soon and more information as it happens. Anybody feel free to PM me with questions or suggestions as they pop up! Looking forward to seeing everybody in the Fall!!!

Rally Information!
Picture this. October 11-13, 2013. Birds chirping, Frogs doing whatever it is that they do, Stars reflecting off the surface of freshly washed Aluminum. And you are relaxing beside a beautiful lake in OKLAHOMA!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of activities to do and a town nearby with dining and entertainment options. The Lake looks beautiful.
Registration is a little different this time around. I have reserved a block of sites at the campground. They won't reserve specific sites but I am prepared to try to work around this if people want. If you have any people you want to camp beside PM me and I will try to make that happen. I plan on getting there early and would be willing to save sites together based on people's preferences. But in the end, don't we go camping to make new freinds?! Check out the campground's web page. We are getting a price of $20.95 per night and they prefer cash or check as payment for the cheaper rate. Oh yeah, They also let us use one of the four clubhouses for FREE!!!!!

We're in! It looks great and somewhere new to go to! I would like a lakeside site facing a leaky stinky slinky! Not sure of their names but they are "ok" and their dogs are amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing what you two do!

Oops I submitted too soon...
I forgot to say - our time with RebuildJoplin.org was fun and very rewarding. We worked for two days painting and trimming the interior of an old house that had been damaged in the tornado. We met the homeowner and that always makes the work all the more meaningful

Sounds like you had an amazing time in Joplin! It was great meeting you at the last rally. Too bad you can't make it back for the Fall rally. Have a great time and be safe on your long trip this summer.
