no formal wifi in the park.
there are coffee shops 2-3 miles east/west that do have wifi.
and the broadband signal is strong,
should be a wifi hotspot with 2-300 feet of the swamp...
password available.
cheers

Ok don't know where you guys are getting these stupid weather reports, just got back from my morning swim, temps are in the low 70's.
Waiting for the sunrise................opps just woke up,
it's just as cold in NY.
Came in yesterday, with the Hammers and Eldridges, it's been cold at each stop heading south since we left on the 27th.
Save on propane with an electric space heater, cost of a heater can be offset pretty quick.
Putting my Prodex insulation to the test - my bare feet are warm on the floor so it's working great.

After looking at the weather report for Destin, you folks might have to winterize on site! I won't make it this year, no furnace!

Nope.
But, all gifts and/or prizes are nice, but once in a while, something perhaps unusual and very different, might be in the group.
And it might be something that very few people, on the planet, has ever seen.
Might make a person, laugh, or maybe even shed a couple of tears.
Might be something you will never, ever, see in any store.
You will just have to wait and see, but, have your camera handy.
Andy

If I can, I'll take one of those empty spaces- even though it's just the tv. Heck, there'll be extra room if someone needs an overflow area :-) When I get there tomorrow, I'll ask!

Their web site says under frequently asked questions:
Question: Do you have an Internet access for guests?
Answer: Yes.
But it doesn't elaborate. That's why we were asking.

Was thinking about reasons this is a stellar opportunity to head to Topsail for a weekend of camping. I'll start with this suggestion:
1. Won't have to compete for the RV pump island at the Flying J's.

We didn't get on the road today. More self-inflicted mechanical issues.
Perhaps we'll be there tomorrow night. It just depends on if I can get the carb to stop leaking fuel (AGAIN)... and if that new radiator being built is ready to install tomorrow morning.
It's the little things.

Updated - let me know if any corrections need to be made. I deleted known cancellations and added some others. I know of a few more who are attending that aren't on this list (like the guy who likes snakes).

Come on Tim, you better pull through. Chief was counting on you to be the sole participant in the Polar Bear Swim on Saturday. We all wanted to see that.

Fixed the problem with the carb this afternoon. On the fuel transfer tube the o-ring was pinched, which kept about 1/8th of the ring from seating. Once I put some light on the carb, it was very noticeable. Frustrating that I didn't catch it when I assembled it.
Course, I can't test the carb today. I'm relying on faith and dumb luck that there are no other issues.
Now just waiting on the radiator shop to call. Then install it. Then flush it. Then fill it. Then locate and fix the next mechanical problem. Then go hook up and head out.

Going have to cancel, the wife just does not like that much cold weather. She wanted to spend most of the time outdoors. We did install a Suburan NT30SP furnace last year-works great, but still a no go. We really enjoyed the 2008 Can Opener...maybe next year. Site 139 will now be open.
If Devoman(Steve) or Artstream(Michael) could PM me with an amount for the tee shirts-including shipping-and an address to send the check, I would appreciate it.
Greg N Cindy, I'm looking forward to meeting you in the near future. I really wanted to see that new 27' CCD.
Hope ya'll have a great time!
