How about

Kernville?

Yosemite?

Sequoia?

If you can tow closer...you can tow farther
especially when your silver sisters are at the other end!

Yosemite sounds great to me.
I can't make it the Oct. 4th weekend though.
The following weekend would work for me too.

I miss everyone! What a fantastic group. We had a little mini-rally in the Rollertoaster for Sun. dinner and were so touched by Meredith's thoughtful post, and in stitches over Laurel's! Thanks so much to everyone for making it such a spectacular weekend of fun and warmth.
I'm loving the photos, and only wish I had been able to interrupt the eating, laughing, drinking, laughing--0h and shopping --long enough to grab my camera for a group photo! Ah well, it lives in memory.
Love to all,
Janet

Yosemite

Anywhere in Sierra-land would be terrific in the fall, and Yosemite is always magical!
We stayed in the North Pines campground last Nov. and it was sooo quiet compared to the summer chaos.

"Home" safe and sound.

Ladies,
I just made it "home" yesterday. Well I made it back to my starting point safe and sound. 2750 miles and 17 days. Gods know how much on fuel.

Next year this will be my tow vehicle!

Thanks for the Encouragement

Hey Silver Sisters!

Some of you may have heard of my efforts in trying to overturn a really bad school board decision . . . . well, our efforts paid off!!! We had hundreds of musicians and parents outside the schoolboard meeting on Monday night to protest cuts. It seems our voices (and instruments) were heard. Thank you to all my silver sisters who offered ideas and encouragement.

Riverside Unified to keep music playing

RIVERSIDE - To a roar of applause from an audience that filled the board room Monday, the Riverside Unified school board voted unanimously Monday to restore the district's elementary music program.

The vote reversed the trustees' decision last month to count the kindergarten to sixth-grade music program's elimination among a $23.6 million package of district budget cuts for 2008-09. . . . etc.

Virginia,

That's fantastic news! I am glad all of your efforts paid off. Music is so important and it's a shame to eliminate that from our youngsters' development. I can't even begin to tell you how much it had effected me through music programs in my school years.

Way to go!!! Keep the music alive!

Pismo, baby, Pismo!

Hey Chicas,

Just got back from a fun vintage trailer rally at Pismo.
This would be a great spot to have our next silver sisters soiree, me thinks.
I'll bet you know the park already, Pismo Coast Village. Loved it!

A belated, "Yayyyyyyy!", to Virginia!

Hope y'all are feeling great and taking some good trips.
I'm trying to brush up on my biking skills so I can pull my Bambi with my road bike. Hey, it's possible.

Love,
K.

Love Pismo!

Pismo would be a blast. Count me in! That is a beautiful campground.....

We are on our way to Monterey (Laguna Seca) on Thursday. A little bird told me that it's also a great place to camp, but I'll give you my full Silver Sister's report next week after we get back.

I miss you guys and can't wait to get something in ink so I can look forward to it!

xxoo,
Meredith
