yeah! Thanks Michelle and Janet (for putting the rally on the calendar). I believe that we should put Lake Casitas @ Ojai or something like that to be clear.

See ya there,
Cat

Hey girls!

I was out all day so was out of touch but it looks like we have our 2nd Annual Western Women's Rally moving right along.
Woo and a great big HOO!

I'll work it out so I can be there. I'll call in the morning and see what's available. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again and having a wild weekend (or quiet and relaxing-it's all good) with the girls.

Any lurkers who might be close enough to join us, please do!

Cat will you be towing? That's great!

I'll post tomorrow with the latest update of what is availble.

See ya all soon,
Laurel

Thanks for the support Steph! We're looking forward to the day when you make it over the Rockies and Sierras to join us.
And LL and Luminati did you see what she wrote? Hmmm? One would think Thelma and Louise would make the effort...
And hooray for the rally muse, Bam! A neccessary presence. Oh you're right. That would be Ed.
Babee, step away from the easel, maam! At least long enough to book your site.

Oh come on Paula, if you are worry about towing, just have Ed drop you off. John just found out about this thread...and my post...oooopsss.
His response was "well, I can go there with you and supervise while you tow..."...sounds like he wants an excuse to take the Big Red to Ojai offroading??? HMMMM...

Louise...it's been too long since our last rendezvous...hope we won't start a riot!

Paula,
Would Ed consider it a cycling opp.? Great rides in that area, and Terry would gladly join him. The only problem is: What do we do with them after they get back? This will indeed take some pondering...

I would like to hear how Casitas worked out, and for those with experience in the state parks on the coast the plusses and minuses. I know I stayed tent camping on the beach at Dana Point near Laguna, have stayed at Leo Carrillo Carpenteria and El Refugio...but when tent camping none of the RV accomodations mattered to me.

Enjoy your trip.
Thanks Joe! We'll keep you posted. Sounds like you have a great journey in store. Keep in mind that most of the CA state park RV sites--especially near the beaches--are usually booked months in advance.
Best of luck,

Supervise!? We don't need no stinkin supervision! Let him ride in the back bound and gaged. That we you can have some peac and quiet! If he gives you any trouble we will take care of him later....

Good Morning Fun Seekers!

I just reserved space number F-26 (right next to Janet) for March 7-9.

On that side (the Lake side BTW) only sites 28 & 30 are still available so if you can...call today!
Electric but not sewer. Sewer on opposite side, odd numbers.
Sites 17-21 seem to be available.

I called at 8:00 and 8:15 and they weren't answering until 8:30 (even though the web site says 8:00 so keep trying).

C'mon Sistas! We can tow it!

Cheers,
L.

805-649-1122.

Lake Casitas Recreation Area

Fox area. Full hook ups are called "executive" sites and are odd numbered, directly across from partial hookup ("deluxe" sites).
