Hi

New to the Forums and, this will be my first time to a rally.
We just picked up a 62 Flying cloud, but it needs work. We think it will work out for this trip. I'm very excited about it.

My Mom will be joining me if it all work out. She is also involved in vintage trailers. Please let me know if there is anything that I need to bringing since this is my first event.

Ellen,
Welcome and bring an extra trailer.

I will be wanting that 62 Flying cloud. Kristiana has a 62 Bambi. I want a 62 vintage shorter traielr and I have been looking at both the bambi and the Flying cloud. I would love to see both of them!

Hi Ellen, welcome to our silva sistahood...

Like the other ladies mentioned before, I also am drooling over a vintage bambi or Flying Cloud like yours. I can't wait to visit yours and day dream a little...

As for the rally, we are quite casual. Some ladies are bringing needles for a knitting lesson. There will be a potluck saturday night and the theme is mexicano, bring anything you like. Some ladies are bringing stuff (anything you have extra or would like to give away) for an exchange party but not mandatory.

Other than that, enjoy your first outing and I am sure you will have fun and get hooked like all us.

Our F.C. needs quite a bit of work - don't think there will be too much drooling going on yet.

But it should be pretty cute eventually! We don't even know if the stove/oven works yet! Am planning on calling Lake Casitas tomorrow so will post site asap.

My daughter is begging to go along to meet this amazing group, so I've ditched the dad and added the kid. Who knows--If the TV breaks down, I might even have a chance to put her to work!

Ok, I'm a little confused. I JUST booked F-8 per Janet (thank you, Janet!) but it looks like our group is in E AND F - we're split up. When I spoke to the campground, I was able to determine that this group is in BOTH areas. I'm assuming that's not intentional. ?? I hope both areas are close together or that we can rebook (with $5 fee) so we can be together. Looking forward to meeting ya'all!

Hi Ellen,

No worries, the two campgrounds are within a stone's throw of each other. We tried to all sqeeze into F Camp but they ran out of spots for us so we started spilling into E. It's all good though, because usually someone's trailer gets designated as the hangout, and we end up spending most of our time together there anyway!

Yea, Janet! I'm glad you're bringing your daughter. We all know you're such a crazy girl, you need someone more mature along to keep you in line (hee hee.)

Gosh, I can't believe our rally is just a few weeks away. I am working on a little surprise for all you girls....just a little somethin' somethin' for my homies. Can't wait to get the silver on!

DOn't woory. You will be with the "in" croud if you bring the 62 flying cloud.

We started in the Fox section and spilled over the Echo.

Hey Janet! As time is getting closer it looks like my travel partner is MY daughter...'THE CHILD' Dana... Sorry that Evie won't be able to come on this one...she's working that week in Mississippi...( I love typing that state...!)

Hello Ladies -

We spent the better part of the long weekend working on the trailer and my pile of trailer goodies for our swap 'n shop is growing.

Thought I'd let you vintage girls know that I have a rope and pole awning that I am thinking of parting with. We have two, and my husband is not so fond of the colors on this one. We have only used it a few times, so it's still pretty new. It is 10 ft long and 8 ft wide. It's a outdoor fabric cabana stripe of gold, white, and green stripes with scalloped edges and white fringe. Comes with a bag too.
