How's Gary getting along?
When I first read your post, I thought you meant heave-ho ME out of A-7.. and I was fully prepared to threaten you with the WRATH of the dreaded terrier sisters :-)
HAR HAR HAR.. EVERYONE is deathly afraid of them.. NOT :-)
Gary is creeping along, (LITERALLY) thank you for asking.
He REALLY did it to himself this time. We are not sure of exactly how well he will heal, and how fast, but I think that June is safe.
The docs (emergency room, General Physician, Orthopedic and Veterans' Administration doc) all agree that it's best to let it heal in place, in a big lump of calcium.
None of them recommend surgery. He has a therapy evaluation this morning and maybe we will know more.. but no cast, just an immobilizer and it is VERY painful.
He is all in all very lucky because when he fell, he got stuck in the ladder, which itself took all of the shock. He didn't hurt his back, knees, or neck.
