Sue, I'm soooo depressed... I just sent off my request for A9 this morning!
I reckon we'll take what we get!
Roger
Sorry to be the cause of your disapointment Roger! Your best bet is to call the park number and speak with a very nice lady named Mary. I know she will do her best to get you as close as possible to the group.

No problem Sue ... I was kidding. I knew when I sent it off that it was unlikely that I'd get it. Frankly we had to wait this long to get our reservations 'cause we didn't think that Laurie could get that weekend off. As a matter of fact, she was scheduled to work it until last Thursday when they changed the weekend schedules for the first time in a couple of years.
We'll take what we can get and be happy about it! We're just happy we're going to get to come this year at all.
And yes, for those of you with enquiring minds who want to know, and were disappointed that we didn't bring the 25' Bigfoot last year, we're planning to bring it this year for your perusal. I may have to drag it over with my Toyota 6cyl pickup instead of the little moho if gas is $4, but we'll be there!
Roger

Bob... I don't know if I've posted this before, but we have some new livestock since last year as well... a couple of Cavalier puppies, Lady, the Blenheim and Khan, the tri-color. They're half-siblings and six weeks apart in age. Lady is 11 mos now and Khan is about 9 1/2.
Roger
We aslo have 2 cavaliers that we plan on bringing to the rally. They are 8 and 9.
Howdy Allen -- I was looking forward to you signing up. Please have Caryn bring the Cavaliers. We have had to restock our stable and have an adorable English cocker puppy. The grandkids will be so pampered -- it's a question of who'll be more exuberant. Moraine View seems such a reality with weather warming and camping trips starting right up!
Bob
We are definitely bringing the Cavaliers. Also my daughter and my son in law and 2 grand children want to come. I will probably need a lodge or a hotel room.Given 2 dogs and 2 grand children I amy opt for the hotel. Too bad there is no four seasons in the area. It a good thing my Great Pryrenees is stayinging home. We are looking forward to seeing you again. Best Regards
Caryn & Allen Kracower
Jack
We didn't know you had a Cavalier. Caryn will be bring our 2 Cavaliers.
Yep, we got Curtis last fall from a rescue group at the local Petco store. Charlie who you met last year had to be put down due to infirmities. Was a bad year since we lost Bandit just before the Moraine View rally.
We hope to have Curtis around for a while. He's about a year and a half at best guess.
Jack

He's a cutie, Jack. We're looking forward to meeting him. Maybe we'll even chat with you guys!

We tell people we like about all the poison ivy in the vegetation at the back of the campsites. So be sure and walk around the lane. Heads up dog owners. And Tracy & the kids -- we don't want to add Moraine View to your list of camping experiences you want to forget.
We will not make it this year. We really enjoyed our first-ever rally at Moraine in 2007. Our son is getting married the weekend before ... lot's of relatives in town. He is the last of the kids (4) to leave the house ... that's the good news. The bad news ($$$$$) is that the other two girls will be getting married within a year of this wedding. Retirement?? Is that something that happens when you reach 90 after paying for all these weddings?
Doug
Jack, make that 2 more needed to equal your record turn out in 2006. Picked up the 1970 Sovereign over the weekend. I sent out the registration to the park folks last Friday, just waiting on the confirmation. Will post when confirmed. Is there an award given for the rustiest looking steps? if so, I may have a shot...
Hey Jack any ideas about themes yet? Those who work long hours need time to locate items to fit the theme.
Sue
Sue, I've thought about this and while some may think I've slipped a cog, I think I like the idea of "Go'in To The Dogs" theme.
With all the tales of high gas prices, woes of the economy, taxes, and general woes, sometimes you wonder that our furry four legged pals don't have it better. So "Go'in" to the Dogs" is it.
Bring your doggie flags, stuffed doggies, live doggies, and doggie hats and T'shirts. I'll bring "Best in Show" for a funny Saturday night movie, and I just might bring some hot dogs for a Friday night wiener roast. Also makes some interesting ideas for Saturdays pot luck meal. Maybe a contest for the dog that looks most like an Airstream or the dog that looks most like it's owner?? Watcha think?
Jack
