We're still on the fence with this one. We'd like to come but have a couple of concerns.

It is a 4+ hour drive for us and we want to wait and see the weather report for the weekend. (It's a long drive to spend the weekend in a camper with seven children.) Also, I've had some staffing issues within the pizza stores to deal with and am kind of waiting to see how they play out. (The curse of owning a business.)

We may still come but probably won't make reservations until a week before. Hopefully, there'll be a site available if we do.

PizzaChop, I don't know how y'all do it with 7 kids in fair weather and keep track of everyone.

I can't imagine a weekend in the Airstream in the rain.

The good thing is if it Rains there is plenty to do around the area. I am hopeful you guys will make it Ron!

We will not be able to make it to Piegeon Forge this time. Hope that the weather is sunny and that you all have a great time. Hope to catch up with you at a later.

Ron and Cindi, I hate to hear you won't be there. Maybe the Falluminum GA rally at Chatuge will work out.

I'll plan on posting an updated site map on Wednesday. Rally time is only 3 days away.

Since there are less than ten of us at this point, I'm forgoing the site map. I have a feeling finding each other won't be a problem. Just check along the creek side. Everything is packed and we're rolling out around noon. We'll see ya'll soon. It doesn't matter how big or small the rally is, we're going camping.

Exactly...Are we still planning on the Potluck Saturday? We should be leaving here about 3PM tomorrow and should arrive around 4PM.

Hey Kevin, I'm up for a potluck Saturday evening. Nothing fancy, just bring whatever sounds good to you. I've got a couple of tables I can bring, but I don't think we'll need to make any big deal for accomodations since we are a small group. I'm bringing a black bean and corn salad with tortilla chips instead of the 24 job. I don't trust my fridge. Also bringing the ice cream freezer, electric of course.

Well folks, we are here and having fun. PizzaChop and their 7 kids just rolled in about 3 hours ago and doubled the rally attendance.

Tammy, I'm so glad you were able to swing by in spite of your Airstream problems. Tammy's friends are here in their SOB and have been a pleasure to talk with. Next time you will be here with your complete rig.

Silverhobby came through this morning and we all had a nice chatt. The sun is out, pot luck in an hour, and then campfire. Just laid back and relaxed, the way we like it. Thanks, Tammy, for starting this rally!

Got to go, need to start the ice cream maker.

Thanks Dacia for the kind words. I feel so bad that I couldnt be there all weekend. It was wonderful meeting everyone. I know soon that we will all be in a campground somewhere together and it will be a hoot!

It was great to see you and your Mom again. Nice to meet kneal, and the other folks ( I am terrrible with names). Ron, I hope the weather continues to be nice for you and your family. I was glad to see you again. I look forward to seeing everyone in the fall, or at the "next" impromptu event that "is planned".
Tammy, sorry I missed meeting you. Hopefully we will meet in the fall.

We had a great time at the rally. It was fun to meet all of you and see some other silver beauties. The food, home-made ice cream, all the kids and the campfire were everything an Airstreamer could want. Thanks for a wonderful time. We look forward to seeing you all down the road.

We just got back in town a few hours ago. Even though we were few, at least until PizzaChop arrived

, this was a very pleasant get together. A small group really lends getting better aquainted with your fellow Airstreamers. I even know all of Ron and Brenda's kids by name now!

Wnew1130 (Art and Carol) it was a treat to meet you. You are my full-timing heros. Have a wonderful summer out west.

We had a great time. The kids did not want to leave. Pizza Chops suprise arrival made there day. We really enjoyed everyone and look forward to doing it again.

Sugarfoot - the link doesn't work above..not sure but the photos are not showing up again. Glad to know your PC still works

We will get together on some dates for an early fall Tin in Townsend....

BTW Kevin, major thanks for fixing my laptop for WiFi! I'm still waiting for the bill.
