Have you seen the price of steaks lately? 10.99 a lb. for Ribeye here.. worse for T-bones and Porterhouses.. I don't understand it!

it's cheaper to go to a restaurant and get an entire meal! And a drink .....or two..... or three...................

What luck. Sue is going to make up some mini cocktail meatballs in a killer sweet/spicy raisin sauce.
And with even more luck we are planning to be pulling in on Thursday afternoon.
Jack, should we contact the campground host or drop in un-announced?

See you soon,
Tom and Sue.

Yes but it costs $10.00 in fuel to get to the resturant. Pam said we are bringing calico beans and a blueberry salad

We'll be back before the weekend is over :-)

We just signed up to attend and mailed our check to reserve a spot!

We're looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time.

Time to think about what to bring for the pitch-in....hmmm.

Rivet Where are you??

I don't see 2air's or Kevin Allen's name on the rally list. I somehow got the idea you both would be joining us this year. 2air's mushrooms and Kevin's sorbet ........ yum. More importantly, it would be nice to see you again.

Read between the lines: current roster

Maybe 'name withheld' will bring bran flakes.

I have my reservations in, but haven't had the time to sit down and decide what to bring for the potluck. I had final exams for my Senior students last week and my underclassmen this week so it has been a whirlwind of activity. I am hoping to bring the ice cream freezers and make sorbet, but will first have to locate them in my storage unit as I haven't seen them since before I moved last fall.

Tom I'm assuming you don't have a reservation for Thursday. If not, give Moraine View a call and let them know, just to be sure your site is available a day early.

Well it has a lot to do with that ethanol we've been burning. I used to be able to by unshucked corn on the cob for $.10 an ear. It's now $.25 an ear, plus the cost of fuel to produce the corn. Lots of corn going to feed the cars.
