32 so far! Still room for you here, but you do need to give this some serious thought and get that reservation in now. We are really very close to last years count. So could this be the year we hit 40???

Still potentially available is P24, P25 and P26. A13-A16 still open. P31 now looks open. Anyone know if if that site is rented by anyone in our group???? P51 is usually the last one they rent in our area since it's not as nice as the other sites. There are other reservable sites beyond those listed above, but you now are getting further away from the main group. So in a nutshell, unless others not associated with our rally have taken these sites already, there are 10 reservable sites left in the main group.

Also note that there are 8 sites in the "A" loop that aren't reservable. So if you get there on Thursday afternoon or early Friday morning you can claim one of these sites and be part of the main rally group. There are other loops B, C, and D and E which are also first come first served.

Just a couple of more thoughts. We are less than a month out and I'm still looking to see if anyone has a portable PA system that we can use for the movies. I have a fall back plan but it's not as robust as I would like to have. If any of you have a system or a contact where you could borrow something with an amp an a reasonable speaker, let me know. Hmmm...I might scour my basement to see if I have an old amp and speakers.

Finally it's time to start a list for food. We ask everyone who plans to participate in the Saturday night pot luck to come up with a dish that will serve 4-6. We've never had a problem with enough variety so we won't assign any food group per alphabet like the WBCCI groups sometimes do.

Just tell me what you are going to bring. I'll post a list to keep you all updated. Scan the list to see what the others are bringing, and decide what you want to contribute. It works pretty good that way and keeps us from getting to heavy on one particular item.

Time is passing fast and those of you still thinking about this need to make your final decisions and get the reservations in. Moraine view will cut off the reservation process a few days before the rally since mail will not reach them in time.

See you soon!

Jack

Norby -- If you won't bring tiramisu I won't not bring lutefisk! I know where you live... Well not really -- but it sounds threatening -- like if I were to hide some around your LP tanks.

I will have a nice desert there too. Sweet tooths will be satisfied!

I guess I need to go get a flag since we are getting close.

Is it tasteless to actually send Norby the recipe we want him to prepare?

ingredients

3 large eggs, separated
3/4 cup sugar
1 (8-oz) container mascarpone cheese (1 scant cup)
1/2 cup chilled heavy cream
2 cups very strong brewed coffee or brewed espresso, cooled to room temperature
2 tablespoons sweet Marsala wine
18 savoiardi (crisp Italian ladyfingers, 6 oz)
1/4 cup fine-quality bittersweet chocolate shavings .........

Amazing what can happen when you get a multi star quality chef at a rally!
