Wow...only 20 days to go, and I have so much do do to get ready for our first time out in the Airstream. I need water hoses, sewer hoses, flags for the rally, awning lights, lounge chairs, and many other things.

Too bad the weather forcast isn't out for that far in advance. I am hoping for dry, and not a severe heat wave since we don't have AC, but will settle for mostly dry.

Steve

Two other things:

1. When was the rally last year?
2. Are the lots pull through or back in? (Only backed the trailer up once, so I may need a ground guide).

I have a question....... where would one find the fingers of an Italian lady? Toasted no less? Sounds just a tad psycho-something or other.

Rally except for one year has always been the second weekend in June.

All sites are back in. Try to get there before dark, it beats backing in the dark. Especially with a unit that doesn't have backup lights....but never fear, there are enough of us there with some sort of light that will make your site look like a runway if necessary. But we will have movies on Friday so try to get there before dark if you can.

On Monday I'm going by the fellow who makes the air decals. Maybe he can make me a 3x5 Airforums flag. At least I'll try.

Just got the trailer home this afternoon. I'll hook up the city water tomorrow and make sure everything is tight and the anti freeze is flushed. I forgot how cold it was on our last trip in October. I almost burned up a 30 lb. tank of gas that week. The other tank was empty. Unfortunately there is no place around my home that is reasonable or will charge by the gallon. If your tank isn't empty they charge the same as if it was. I'd love to fill both tanks but it's expensive enough to fill an empty tank. I'll be damned if I'll pay the guy the same price even though I may have a gallon or two of propane in the other tank.

I don't remember any pull-throughs.. but we'll be there early and will be HAPPY to help you back in. My hubby is an expert :-) He drove trailers for work (road construction) and whips ours all over the place.

You'll find that we all help each other.

I'm not one to call names.. but "Norbert" and "Psycho" do belong in the same conversation :-)

Refer to last year's menu about Terrier Fricassee or something :-)

KIDDING.. Norbert is a GREAT guy. But he'd be MORE great if he'd break down and do the Tiramisu :-)

We took vacation the 7th through the 10th since my birthday is the 7th. We plan to make it there at check in on the 8th (Too bad we can't get in earlier) and it should be enough light to see what we are doing.

Well we are here but getting ready to head out for the holiday weekend. All is well and I'm having a prototype Airforums flag being made by the folks who make our decals. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. I hope to have it in time for Moraine View. Still lots of slots to fill on the food list, and still space for those of you thinking about getting out that weekend. Time is short though.

No, we have never done this one before. We tried it last week and really liked it. Hope that others will too. Tastes just like a Rubin sandwich. (Corned beef, sauerkruat, swiss cheese and toasted rye bread)

See you soon. We will be ariving Thursday and staying until Monday.

Is anybody bringing children? Our grandaughters are 13 & 9. If there were others of similar age coming, we might invite them along.
