We've plowed and shoveled and scraped and salted and it's supposed to be 6 degrees tonight. Those 30 degrees sound really good right now! Not that we wouldn't like a little warmer at the beach by January Our local road is so solidly thick iced that we are canceling our service work in St. Louis tomorrow. We don't trust pulling the Airstream out to the main road where it is clear. Florida is sounding so fine!~G

St.Augustine

We are headed to St.Augustine tomorrow so it may be a bit tough to get online during the day but I will get on when I can. There are several places to go and get wifi for free there.I plan on surfing every day that I can possibly do.Plus visit some friends there also.It is gonna be great to get away again.
Hey ... Is there an amplifier antenna to catch wifi like they have for auto stereos and such?I have a friend that told me I could use theres if I could reach it.They live just outside the park and are not very far away.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not planning on doing a full blown polish. No, no NO! I just want to test a spot, get the feel of using a cyclo, just shine up a patch. Then, I'm done. Because I too plan on doing nothing except kicking back and enjoying life.

Yesterday morning early I sat for an hour at the end of a mile-long trail I had laid the night before waiting for a bloodhound to find and identify me. It was 31 degrees with a wind chill of 26. Rally thoughts kept me warm! I can't wait. Just about a month away now, isn't it?

I have 3 tables and we'll be glad to contribute to the shrimp boil. I'll bring my big pot and accessories too. It sounds like we may just need all we can get!

I am thinking that the bloodhound may follow your trail to the rally, to get warm.

If I read reserveamerica.com's website correctly, sites 103,105,107,115,116,121,123,124,125, and 129 are available for 1/4-1/6/07 (Thurs.-Sat. nights). There are a couple of additional sites available Friday and Saturday only.

I just ordered my PJs at Amazon today. Should ship soon. However if we decide to do togas I'll grab my sheet as someone already mentioned. Now maybe I need a set of flamingos (generic is fine) and decorate them.

We'll bring a projector - if anyone has a screen that would be great. Otherwise, a sheet will work fine.

Dman: Hawking Technology makes a USB wireless-G dish antenna model HWU8DD. "High Gain 8dbi antenna extends wireless distance up to 300%". Plugs into a USB port on your laptop. The dish configuration makes it highly directional. Aim it at the source for max signal strength ( indicated by 5 led indicators). It works very well. Sells for under $80.00 from internet retailers.
Google Hawking Technology for specs.

You can project it on the side of a fairly shiny A.S.as was done on Flamingo Kid's trailer at the Morain View Forums ralley this past June. Worked great. Wish we could get Flamingo Kid to abanden the frozen North for a few days and join us in sunny ( I hope) Florida for this get-together.

I found out Northerm Mississippi gets just as cold as Southeastern Tennessee can get. Poor dog, it was pretty frigid for even a well-trained bloodhound nose. if she wants to get warm come January, I'll have a really HOT trail to Florida for her! I'll bet her handler wouldn't object.

Alan, it would be so cool if you could make it to the rally. See what your fine mentoring has done! Surely they can let you go for just one little day.
