Beach
Moosetags.Isnt it great living so close to the beach. You just can not get enough of it.That is how we are.I have been living on the beach for so long and I still love it to this day.Best medicine in the whole world. Fresh clean air off the ocean. You just cant beat it.Well..Until the storms start to brewing up.Then we are the first one to leave.

We will also be in Tuesday evening, don't know how late. Mom will want to sleep in late Wednesday, but we'll probably touch bases with the early birds that afternoon.
Regardless if club house tables are available, we will probably bring a couple of small ones with us.

We live two houses off the ocean, and absolutely love it. We've been here 11 years. I worked in Panama City until I retired three years ago. We are both from Florida, and have spent a lot of time around the storms. We stayed in the house for both Ivan and Dennis. If they get much worse than those, we also leave.

Beach
When I purchased my place I made sure I was not on the beach itself. We are about 3 blocks from but a walk away and one block from the bay behind us.It is kind of a small island but connectected at one end.I have been living on the beach since I was 23.I lived in town before that but was still close.
The beach where we live is very soft and erosion is very bad because of the angle of the beach. So that is why I chose not to be close to it.I have been thru a lot of storms like you and then some.
But you know...It is still worth every bit of it.

Well it was so exciting but now waiting is sheer TORTURE!!!! Besides you guys were throwing around the "w" word. Scared me to death. You are planning on working? There, there, I am gasping for breath.
It snowed today. No accumulation but big fluffy flakes. I am busy checking to see if all is in order. Most people can't wait until Christmas. I can't wait until the 2007 Florida Can Opener!!!!

Good to see some posts I thought I had scared everybody off. I agree also I am ready for a 2007 Florida Can Opener Rally. Seems like we will all have a good time. And Devoman picked a good time to go and a great location. The wife and I stayed at Topsail Hill back in July and we enjoyed it.Looking foward to meeting all of you. Davis

It is forcast to be 30 degrees here in Santa Rosa Beach tomorrow night. It is rare to get freezing weather here in December. But, on the bright side, a good cold winter means no hurricanes next summer.
