Hey pepper, This is going to be such a cool rally with so many Airstreams from all over the country. Looking forward to meeting you and your wife too. Thank heavens we'll have those great name tags. I can tell you right now I will be needing to use those cheat sheets!

Moosetags; We just picked up our "new" 77 AS. We where supposed to pick up a 68. ended up with a different one. It's a long story but we are smiling now! We are on our way back to Miami with three nights on the road. Any way we see your post with Lucille & Desi. What is the connection? Our dogs are Lucy & Desi and we are trying to come up with a name for our AS. I think we may use Ethel. We would like to be original and don't want to step on any toes. Lipets had a post of a sighting, (white Avalanche/AS) That would have been Us!

It is someone else that has an Airstream named Lucille, and their TV is Desi. Our Safari's name is Lucy and our TV is Olivia. Our two primary flamingo are Fred and Ethel though. You wouldn't be stepping on our toes to use any of these names.

The Primary Famingos are Fred and Ethel. The are the orignals of our flock. Their job is to guard the hitch end of Lucy to make sure that no one (me, that is) trips or scrapes their shin on the yoke. Our other four Flamingos are the back-ups. They stand-by in the area to fill in when Fred and Ethel go on break.

Food
Good morning all. Since I'm technologically challenged I'm hoping someone will add this to the food list. We (ptrvr and AWPPC) will do a shrimp boil and probably cover 20 pounds of shrimp and related goodies out of our pockets. We will need a head count, either now or upon our arrival Friday mid-day, to make sure we have enough. Might have to ask for a small donation if the 20#'s won't cover. Hope that is ok with everyone.
This will be our first large rally and we are really looking forward to it.
Greg

Greg, there is nothing we love more than a shrimp boil, and to have it down on the Gulf Coast makes this a son-of-a-gun big-fun celebration! We'll be glad to go in on the cost for such good eats ~G

May not need to lug the tables we can borrow the ones in the club house I would think????
I'm planning on leaving NY Monday morning, stopping in SC that nite on the way down.
It depends on where we stop and the weather as to when we leave SC.
We may come in late Tuesday, Wed but Thursday the latest.

We live here, so we will be here when you arrive on Tuesday. We live three houses off the ocean 3 miles from the Campground. Please give us a call when you arrive (my cell is 850-830-9444 and SuEllyn's is 850-830-9111). We would be glad to show you around and tell you what is here and how far it is.
