Hey all
Just got back from work. And noticed that you can miss alot in 12 hours.I am liking the addition of the menu. That is a nice touch to keep things in order also.Sounds like there is going to be a huge cook off here.I can feel the fat just growing right now. There is going to be some very good food at this rally.I really can not wait.
Oh yea.I just got all of the badges and I am now starting to prepare the name badges.I will post some of them up to show what they look like so you can get an idea of how they will look.

good lord! i go campig for thanksgiving, and have 4 pages of reading to bring me back up to speed! ha! hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! anyway, back to the t-shirts for a moment. i went ahead and posted t-shirts, magnets and coffee mugs on our site. we're sorta test-marketing a few items through cafepress before going into production. they're pretty expensive, but no set-up costs make it easy to get people's opinions.
we'll send all the proceeds for the rally stuff to the airstream forums, as a big thanks for making this possible!
anyway, you can get to the shirts here:
http://silverpickle.com/
i'll talk to the misses to see what we can bring. looks like the list is filling out!

T-shirts
I just got a quote for the T-shirts, $7 no setup or other charges, they are Ultra 100% cotton preshrunk.
As I said before I have been using these for a few years for my employees and they are great.
The supplier is someone I know for a while, he needs 2 1/2 weeks to make them he already saw the drawings in this thread.
As a group we need to buy a gross or 144.
Let me know if and how you folks wish to proceed.

shirts, etc...
it's definately cheaper to buy them in bulk... but you run into problems with sizes, plus the quantity you're talking about would mean 3 shirts per person... i like the logo and all... but... ...
that's why i went ahead and added them to our cafepress store. they get more for their shirts, but you can specify sizes, etc. it's all print on demand. that also lets us do things like the mugs and magnets. if anyone wants any other little trinkets, i can do the artwork for it as well.
i believe we can get a discount from them if we order 15 or more of the same item. it's a 35% cut. they're also running free shipping on orders of $40 or more.
finally, if you want me to take the $1 per shirt mark-up off, i can. but i thought it would be a nice donation to the airstream forums on behalf of the rally... might even be the start of something big!

Name badges
OK...The name badges are done until we get more people coming to the event.Hopefully we can get 30 Airstreams in there. That would be great .
Now I really feel sorry for the SOB that is in the middle of it all.

Hi jp ~
I tried to order a shirt and it wouldn't let me create a password that it would accept. I sent a comment through the site as an inquiry. Hope to hear back soon. Gotta have a shirt.

well given the blessing of all this good food, folks may want to order one size larger on the shirts....
i like the idea of bulk but 144 is a lot of shirts...cafepress may be the best compromise....
so 'a-merry-can' are you down for a green bean casserole?
i need lunch
