I'm going to make a try to get our Junk together for this if the kids school schedule will alow.
Tow rig got $790 worth of New Michelins today. Needs a valve cover gasket and oil change so its pretty well ready to go.
I have the week off so let me see if I can get enough of her together to make it liveable for a long weekend. Proably won't have any thing other then lights and a Goucho but we can make due.
How are they about dogs?

Hey Toaster, so glad you can give it a shot. Really hope it comes together for you. Quite a few of us are bringing dogs (and maybe cats? Michelle?). The only thing I've read is the obligatory "must be on a leash" law. So pack up the kids and the K9s and come on down.

Hey All.
Hey all.
I just walked in the house to check up on the site and wow.This thing is getting better and better.The dates turned out to be perfect for everyone and more to attend.
I have just read up on what I have missed and looked at some of the things about the theme or title for our get-together.I feel It would be great if everyone voted on what they think is the best title.I have also like a few myself.

2007 Tin Can Ally Rally(I saw this one earlier.I thought it was pretty cool.)
Are there any more that anyone like.
I have been trying to think of some simple contests with some prizes to go with them.I am kinda having a brain fart but could use some suggestions from you all also.Thanks.

hey devo and others who've camped at this place...are fire rings allowed?
anywhere?
how about those portable lpgas fake firering things?
we had 2 of those at the basher's rally in oregon and they were pretty nice...
along with a hugh woodfire...
no contest suggetions 2 night, but how about movies?
anyone have access to a lcd projection thingie that plugs into a computer?
there is still a lot of darkness in january evenings,
so outdoor movies would be a fun way to illuminate the evening wine...
movies project really nicely onto the side of airsteams...
and here is another title option...

I'm not so great at making up titles, but I'm seeing some good suggestions here for a rally title. So far my favorite is "2007 Can Opener". Short, catchy, got the "tin can" thing going, and designates the event as the opener for the new year. And yes, it fits on the cocktail napkins.

Hey thats a good one.
About the fire rings though.I dont think they allow anything to be burned on the grounds at all.The most burning there will be is from you furnace when warming up inside you Airstream and the BBQ grill.They have lamp posts at either every site or evey other site.I can not remember.But hey....You get cable for your TV.wooohooo.

breakfast is a marvelous idea!
for folks leaving sunday, a breakfast really can work nicely.
eggs, pork, flapjacks or french toast, fruit and java!
i will help with this....
some of us will be there for days for/aft and could do some other meals as well...
gotta be a least one bbq....

and an obvious contest will be how best to create a fire looking thing with rv light bulbs...or flash lights...
