If just three more Airstreams sign up, we can become our own WBCCI unit, but then we would need a permit to have a rally.

I saw you headed down. I remember seeing that cart in the bed of the truck.
I had to run down to Warner Robins or Voldesta and was on my way back. I was driving the White van with the big orange splat man on the side (Cingular)

That sounds great. Like a long table in a banquet hall, or a giant buffet, world's longest food and drink bar, bigger than Las Vegas. even! We can reroute traffic around the block if need be. Either the SOB's are going to be so curiously envious that they will have to investigate, or we're going to tick some of them off!

Mike, I'm glad you and Tina made it back home safely with your new baby. And wow, Devoman, look what you started. This "little get-together" is growing quickly to a full-blown rally.
Jim Clark - Yes, we will be happy to have an open house visit or any other visit - everyone is welcome. Come on by. We are excited and pleased with the condition. It was a little un-nerving to send that money and then go get the camper sight unseen 48 hours later - it worked out fine.

Sugarfoot - We didn't go alone - we had the beasts with us. Clancy and Boo went for a ride and had a ball at our expense. Two big dogs that have rarely gone on the road was a handful, not like little Daisy. They got the hang of things until Boo spotted a deer in Tims Ford and took off like a rocket. He's not so young so he came back after about 200 yards but pleased with himself.

Looks like we are having a rally of sorts. The place will look great with all this silver on one row.

Mike and Tina

Clancy_boy we also have a trailer buying story. I will let Donna tell it at the non rally rally she is much better at story telling than I am.

Size

22' eh...Size does matter doesnt it Clancy Boy?
Ok stop it!!!!!I meant the Airstream
How are you liking the room.Your little one is gonna go crazy when she sees how much of an area she has to run around in.It is kinda like getting a new house. Now that you have gone bigger you now need more stuff to fill in the empty spots. That means more shopping and I bet that job goes to the Mrs.I bet she is smiling right now as you are reading this
We still can not fill ours up yet though. There is just so much room.We will in do time though. It is just figuring out what we want to do with ours.

Hi, I was looking for a place to go in southern Fla and
found a spot in the Keys.

It is about 750 miles from Topsail.

I don't think I want to do it in one shot.

Where can I stay one night at about the 500 mile point.

Also what is the best route south.

To travel from Santa Rosa Beach to South Florida we go up to I-10 east to I-75 south to Wildwood and pick up the Florida Turnpike south to Fort Pierce and get on I-95 south to its end and take US 1 on down to Key West. Keep in mind that the last 160 miles from Miami to Key West seems to always take at least 4 hours ,or more depending on the number of photo ops.

The five hundred mile point on this route puts you in Fort Pierce or Stuart. There are a whole bunch of nice campgrounds in that area. Make sure you have a reservation as many of those places down there fill up with snowbirds after the first of the year.
