We use a Verizon braudband card. It works great we are on line almost everywhere we go.
I was thinking about looking into Verizon, but I'm not a Verizon customer (Cingular) and wasn't sure if I needed to be a Verizon customer, if it was cheaper for Verizon customers, how much it cost, would it be worth it for the amount I would use it, etc? Any quick short answers so as to not hi-jack the thread?

The weather here in Santa Rosa Beach cleared up nicely at about 1:30 this afternoon. The sun came out suddenly, and it was like it never rained. 2air proposed a BYOB (bring your own beef) barbque. This event was held on the site (164) that Jim Clark was to occupy. We probably had about 50 people there. It was really nice. There was much food and adult beverages consumed.

Now that makes me feel like I am missing out. Just to let everyone know I will cook Jambalaya tonight for the family as I have everything I need. Keep up the reports and post some pictures.
I guess the bright side is I did get my Pole Ease holder installed.
It is Saturday morning. The skies are once again cloudy, but no rain. We are hoping that it will clear as the day goes on. The temperature is nice though; it is 65 degrees. The ralliers are beginning to stir. Several more Airstreams snuck in during the night. The sky brightens! I have to go.

You do not have to be a Verizon customer to buy the card. The card cost about 60.00 to buy and then the service is 50.00 a month. I don't know how much you travel but you might consider using only the card even at home. It works pretty fast. I hope this helps. Laura
Wow...What a great time we all had.Everyone had fun and the potluck turned out really good. Now ... On to breakfast in the morning with PJ's on forks in hand.
Our only regret is that we probably won't have a chance for one on one time with everyone who came. Great People, Kool Rigs and Dee-licious Southern Cookin' ! Indiana Jones under the stars and in between rain drops was a blast and something we will remember for a long time ! Thank You Devoman and all the nameless for making it all happen. We really are having a great time here at our first rally, we value our new friends and are already looking forward to next years "Annual " !
Yes, indeed, it has been a really super event. Big kudos to Steve (devoman) and the other organizers for making this a great event. All had a great time. We even had a drive-in movie tonight on a 10 x 20 foot screen hung in the trees compliments of nilesrob. The rain held off until everyone was ready to go back to the Airstream. The rain will hopefully let up again in time for the end of rally breakfast tomorrow morning.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped out with everything that went on and thank you for all the great food. Also I want to say thank you for the donations and they were great prizes.
I did a head count during our potluck and I counted about 80 people total give or take the few who walked off to do something. Also we had a few more airstreamers show up out of nowwhere that did not know about the rally and joined the festivities with us.I can say that after this turnout I will be planning on having another one of these and hopefully I will be seeing most of you all again after tomorrow morning. So for those of you I did not see leave the park.Have a safe trip home and drive safe. Thanks everyone.I had a blast.
