jack...
sent our reservation this morning. said they'll try to give us either
P(40)or A (3).
will let you know upon confirmation.
glad we're out of hiding (as Tin Can Luv mentioned earlier)...
we are not bringing my mother this year. we've replaced her w/ a newborn
this is also my public apology to TINCANLUV for getting out of touch w/ him and Tony. we received the neatest gift at Christmas, a hand made Airstream "pillow". It has wheels, rivets, a license plate, windows. It is truly the neatest, thoughtful gift...one that I stumbled over as I walked out of our front door one cold morning, just after having the baby )
since he dropped off that wonderful gift, we sold the house and moved. so, we literally dropped out of sight.
...enough already...
i'll take a double hit in the chocolate milk that i keep reading about

Why not make chocolate milk WITH flamingo juice?
How many flamingoes do you need to squeeze to get enough juice?

That depends on how many you need to serve.
I believe, also, that flamingo juice curdles milk.

Great! I am just catching up since we've been gone since Thursday at a unit rally in Springfield Il. Between the work with the Final Four and this trip, I've sort of neglected things on this thread.
We need it get it in gear though, since time is fast passing. It will be 60 days and counting by this weekend, so those of you planning to go need to make your reservation.
Just as a reminder, while the park is putting us next to each other, they will honor requests for specific sites from anyone. This means that our togetherness will only last as long as no one else requests these sites. If you are still thinking about it, make a reservation. If you cancel you will receive your money back minus $5.00. Not a big risk for most folks.
More later.....
Regards,
Jack

new folks
I'm trying to keep this thread visible, which ain't easy with all of the cool stuff going on on the forum!
I have sold some fun Airstream stuff on Ebay lately and have met several new people who did NOT know about the forum, and I have extended Midwest rally invites to them!
So everyone, support that and be nice!

Ok, here is the deal.....
We are the one's planning on staying at A08. I told Jack a few weeks ago that it was worth the risk of losing the $5 just in the event that we actually have a few days to relax before the following weekend.
Though we have reserverd A08, there are no promises that we are a for sure yet......but we do have a site just in case.

Glad to hear you'll at least try to make it. I may be popping a tent covered in aluminum, but I'll be there....
Can't wait!!! Can't believe Panub will be there too... How exciting.

I think we're in...I'm sending it in Friday...I'm trying for P37, fairly level for the Motorhome if I remember from last year.
Chris/Cottage/Till,
Did you receive the red numbers I sent?
Jack,
I just found yours the other day while going through the glove box of my wife's car. I had them in there in case I was over in your area...and to think we only live a couple miles apart. Hold off on that trip to HD for the 2005 numbers and please keep the thread updated if you can...wink!)

Chris, thanks. I had started looking so I will hold off and get them from you either before or once we get up there.
Hey and folks who are coming, if you still have your flamingos, whirly gigs from last year's rally, bring them again. I stood out like a sore thumb at our WBCCI rally last week. All of our goodies were out spinning in the wind surrounded by my "guard" mingos. It really is neat when we add to the outdoor decor. Maybe we should do some awning lights also. I've got my Nash/Airstream lights and some neat blue rope lights that I'll try to get attached in some fashion.
Jack

(there's that evil laugh again)
Funny you would ask, Jack. I have had the form filled out and ready to send now for a few weeks with that site requested - P49 - home of my tree friend. I'm going to mail it in today with all intensions of making it to the rally. We will do everything we can to be there and risk the possibility of losing our deposit......it's so not like me to gamble away five bucks!
So now that our mystery guest isn't going to make it, aren't you going to tell us who we're missing? Hmmmm? It was Britney, wasn't it? I KNEW IT!

We wish....(speaking from a male point of view ). No the unknown was just one of the forum members who didn't want to be on the official attendee roll.
But it is important for us to know who is coming and confirmed so please be sure to let us know. If you want to be unknown then let me know (but I need to know for other reasons that will be evident, upon your arrival).
Another week passes by and it June gets closer. Can you believe we are already 12 days from May??? Won't be long now!
Regards,
Jack

It will be here sooner than you think. Lots of campgrounds starting to fill. I'm making some reservations for May here in Missouri at and I'm finding that most of the state park reservable sites are getting booked up.
Don't let time get the best of you! If you want to be parked with the group, you need to get those reservations in...
