I can relate as my house in Wisconsin sold several months before I found a house to buy in the Quad Cities - - during the interim, I lived in the Airstream for nearly six months then moved into a motel for two months (all of the campgrounds were closed for the Winter). Living in the Airstream was a great experience - - if it weren't for the winter approaching, I would have been happy to stay in the Airstream. Looked at over 40 houses over six months and never found one I liked better than the first that I looked (it sold before I could make a decision and at half of what I ended up spending). The move to Southern Illinois was easy as I already owned that property.

Good luck with your sale/purchase transactions.

Kevin

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sunny day.. although it's only 26 degrees, our trailer is still in winter storage, and it's full of mouse doo-de-doos.

I also have a new puppy who has never been camping.. will she be good or will she dig her way through the side of the trailer if left alone for 15 minutes?
(Jack Russell Terrorists do such things)

ALL remains to be seen.. if June would ever come and we could go camping!

What a long winter this has been!

"That's hot" (did I just quote Paris Hilton?)

This reminds me of a funny camping memory. While on a camping trip by Santa's village, a group of people pulled up to a campsite a few rows away in a "Love Van." I got pretty excited when I saw them because I just love anything unusual and vintage. It was that orange/yellow/brown color scheme with a great desert scene painted across the sides and one of those really cool bubble windows in back. Later, I was out walking and I noticed the door was left open. The inside had some really groovy wall to wall shag carpet in the same colors and a pull curtain behind the seats. Wow! It was the coolest. That did it - I was obsessed with these strangers and would occasionally glance over to see who owned such a vehicle. When I finally did catch a glimpse of them, they were all decked out in clothes from the same era......hairstyles and all.

Now I still ponder this scene. It left me with so many questions unanswered?
Were these people just living in a time warp? Did they not care for fashion and social acceptance? Or could it be they were just having fun? Maybe their favorite camping activity is decking themselves out and traveling around in their love van to intrigue nosey campers - like myself. Or, and this is what I think the true answer is; the love van is really a time machine and they travel through time....camping.......yea.........(drifting off in thought)

Hmmmmm.....(intense thought)

Am I to be shocked that Britney Spears has a greatest hit CD?

Or that you have visited her website?

It should be GYPSIES IN THE PALACE

"We're gypsies in the palace, he's left us here alone
The order of the Sleepless Knights will now assume
the throne
We ain't got no money, we ain't got no right
But we're gypsies in the palace, we got it all tonight"
A little bit from Jimmy Buffett

alrighty then..

Alrighty then;

It seems as if we'll all lost our minds; every single one of us. Maybe it was because Jack said we have NINETY-THREE DAYS
left.. that sounds horriiible.

At exactly three o'clock, CST, everybody slap themselves, unless you can get a neighbor to assist you, and snap back to normal.

Britney Spears? Movie Stars?

I want FOOD, and beverages.

I can see clearly that cabin fever has infected some of us more than others!
